In my opinion, I think Aura kingdom has good graphics and an interesting story , you'll enjoy at first , even if you have to endure the constant maintenance that last for hours , then from level 50 you 'll get bored because everything becomes repetitive, even you have to keep in mind that during the maintenance you can lose your eidolons (which are the companions that help you during the game - dragons, fairies - etc ) , your clan, team or even your own character, so they will say that , you should send a ticket with your complaints and the evidence of your lost things (that means that think that you should take pictures of your staff all the time) , but at the end they will do nothing at all and if in case, they do anything, they will send you things that do not serve anything all to your account and noted: "Our apologies for the inconvenient this is Causing you .
Best regards,
Team Aura Kingdom
Which not only happens to one person, it happen thousands of players in Aura Kingdom . So, in a nutshell, if you want to play Aura kingdom is up to you, because if during the game you have any problem, they will not fix it and only just get you bored faster.
With hundreds and hundreds of MMOs out there, it must be really hard to come up with some unique way to describe them so it doesn't sound like 'This is the same exact stuff you've been playing for years".
I've played Aura Kingdom since beta and unfortunately these days the Aeria version is just a complete mess. Like many X-Legend games, it is a purely pay-2-win affair with Aeria expecting people to pay hundreds per month. As of the time of posting this, the game is really in a state of mass-exodus since many of the casual players, and even core players can't put up with the sheer mind-numbing grindfest past Level 55+, couple that with the sheer insanely low drop rate for Level 60/65 recipes/items and the very high cost of item fortification.
Unfortunately, Fortification has become a major problem since much of the content is looking more and more unlikely non-paying customers will actually get to play - especially when it comes to random groups for high level dungeons like Lament or even higher floors in Sky Tower.
Getting new eidolons like Endora is another lesson is sheer frustration as the fragment drop rate is set most likely below 0.1% strangely enough, others have reported the RNG being fairly generous to them giving them frequent drops and even full keys, whilst many other players don't receive anything, even if they put in the grind - for most players, it just proves to be totally unrewarding.
The PvP is just as bad, since the game is purely pay to win, don't expect much unless you pump hundreds into your character. Same with the item mall eidolons, having to open 37 scam boxes to recieve one key fragment is a down right robbery especially considering you need 10 key fragments for a 1 Star Eidolon, and considering these will be eventually be allowed to upgrade to 5 Star...we're talking potentially $10,000 here.
The actual game mechanics are so broken, especially for Melee which X-Legend totally butchered. Most boss encounters are just a complete mess, they got very lazy with the design - just slap down a ton of aoe boss skills which broken red lines for the player to dodge. The problem is, they got so over-zealous with these red lines since boss fights it isn't uncommon to see the entire floor covered in red, and since Melee characters are extremely vulnerable, they almost always die in one hit.
If anyone hasn't already mentioned, bots are also a massive problem - both from gold selling websites and regular cheating players are using them, it has been getting very bad recently - even gold spam is starting to appear. Basically unless some very major changes happen to Aura Kingdom, I don't expect the International version to last very long.
If was to rate this at the moment, I'd rate it the same as the drop rate for level 60+ recipes, meaning less than 0.1% - Just avoid this.
