Their podcast a few weeks ago stated that translation has been completed LINK (24:00). Moreover, they just revamped much of their website.
HMMMMMMMMMM...
This would be a good time for AA to launch, as there are no other games like it on the horizon, e.g., gigantic open worlds, world pvp, world housing, sandpark-style elements, etc. EQL Alpha won't be for everyone and EQN is most likely years away from launch.
6 Months or less for either a full launch, or for a launch date release (your pick, Trion's statements were ambiguous to me).
I also heard that it hasn't done well. Mostly because of design decisions. Like there is a catch to everything. Awesome ideas, but even worse execution. These things I've heard from a couple guildmates and 1 or 2 friends. We'll see though. I will certainly try to get into a beta.

Main blow for AA was P2P->F2P and the handling of support issues, after that it only went downhill.

Endgame content is an illusion. You play the game once and 'feel' and be immersed in the progression and then you replay it with different characters or quit. This can then extend to a PvP-system.
We had effectively not a single game with endgame content.
This game cannot come soon enough. There are some pretty good concepts out there right now in other games, but this is the only one that seems to even be attempting to wrap everything up into one package.

Arises from sources like (http://www.mmoculture.com/2014/01/archeage-friends-and-family-alpha-finally-begins-for-english-server/), which in turn leads back to the invasion of Trion's Rift stream (transcript copy http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/post/6133235#6133235, verifiable to AAS, which I'd rather not link because of disputes with conduct during a Rift presentation)
Dahanese: much sooner than 6 months
Though not Trion's intentions, the cat is out of the bag. MEOW ><
