I hope we can become Nightingales

Since the thieves guild will be added later after release, it would be cool if we can become Nightingales once we reach highest rank in thieves guild.

And most of all earn their armor

    I wonder if players can be the Listener since there can only be one Listener at a time.  Or at least maybe become a Silencer of the Black Hand after making your way up in the The Dark Brother Hood, but than again I think there can only be 4 Silencers since each is a personal assassin for the 4 Speakers of the Black Hand.  It doesnt matter I guess, The Dark Brother Hood its self is going to be cool and very much looking forward to them as well and their gear too.

    Probably after all I've seen Dragon priest and there not supposed to be moving around until Alduin's return.  With said I think anything is possible, damned be the lore!

    Not one for lore and story but correct me if I'm wrong:  Isn't Nightingale or more importantly Nightingale Armor a trade mark of the Dark Brotherhood?  If so then the Devs already mentioned DB was coming in a post launch content patch.

    Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

    Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!

    Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

    Nope, Nightingales are the top-end of the Thieves Guild. In Skyrim lore there were always 2 or 3 of them, but iirc in "ancient times" there were many more, so having hundreds of them running around in ESO will still fit the lore (I think).

     

    I'm actually interested to see what ZOS and Bethesda are going to do with the ES lore and history. How will they expand it ? Anything that happens in ESO will have to fit into the "later history" timeline, otherwise the storyline and lore of the Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim games will be disrupted.

     

    I don't know why they didn't rather set the ESO story in a later era (after Skyrim), because that would have given them a great deal of freedom with plot directions and lore...

    Not sure if nightingales and listeners would remain cool if there were thousands of them running around.. 

    ..on the other hand, after you'll see thousands of vampires and werewolves, why not  *shrugs*

    If a had a nurse in that outfit I'd freak and run naked from the hospital. And then get arrested for public nudity and brought back to the hospital. If I could run that is. If I couldn't I'd ask what meds they were giving me and could I have a real nurse.

    And I why do you want to be a nurse in eso?
