MMORPG tax

Yep. In Texas I am paying $16 a month for WOW.

Certain states now have MMORPG taxes. Dont believe me? Check your WOW monthly fee. If it's $16, check what states you live in and see if your a victim of a state MMORPG tax ::::21::

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

I'm surprised they even know what a MMORPG is let alone make up a tax for it.

Thats terrible, i would hate to live in a state that keeps up with the times.

Maybe they will start playing some mmo's and get their heads out of their own asses.

And make this country a better place, rather than taxing gamers, how about the fight the war on drugs, or finish the war in Iraq, before they tax video gaming?

Thats ridiculous, oh and rmemeber your state VOTED on it, so cast your VOTE to not be taxed next year, no big deal. =p

    Interesting

They're based in California so I wouldn't assume they would charge tax when you live in texas. Maybe the US finally is getting aggressive with internet sales.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

it probably was just a small part of a much larger bill that was found to be beneficial overall.

if it came to voting like that i would vote yes.

but en1gma as far as i know the term "progressive" in internet law is false.

because for example in the US sites with adult material had a bill pass that required more proof of age, however i read an article said it could be circumvented by using off shore servers.

so internet law due the fact that you can axcess the net from anywhere can only be progressive as the most least progressive countries in that area in my mind.

You think they wouldn't tax on mmo's.  Just think what a public service mmo's are;  alot less tards and gankers out runnin the streets!    image

But seriously the tax is no big deal...i been paying tax on mine for awhile thru game card purchase and sales tax.   Really nothing to protest about.

I don't think we have that in the UK.
But who knows we might have but I don't have a clue the mmorpg's I pay for are just a regular price image

AO have been adding VAT/Tax since 2003, about 15% I think.

So AO costs right now, for me, 17.20€, making it the most expensive MMO I could play, thats about 20$ or something.
