I got really bored of Tera because I hate questing. Are there any good rvr games out there or upcoming? I'm mostly looking for casual gameplay.

I like games like MOBA/MMOFPS because the minute you create your account you enter the pvp stage of gameplay(that's what I call fun). In MMORPG's you need to grind to max lvl so you can enjoy decent pvp. Any MMORPG out there that doesen't require this?

"good rvr games out there or upcoming?"   Well "good" is a relative term.

So RvR,  Guild Wars 2(out now) and Elder Scrolls Online(out 4-4-2014).  Your character gets boosted to max level stats. However max level players will be stronger. You're "viable" as a lower level player though.

You like MOBA, check out SMITE. Been playing that for at least a year and I still do a couple of matches each week. Loads of fun.

Currently the only game I'm playing seriously is Planetside 2 (RL doesn't leave me with much time...). It's 3-way persistent "RvR" mmofps/rpg with enormous maps (each a mmo continent) and futuristic combined-arms warfare - infantry, tanks, aircraft. It is quite demanding of hardware so you might want to check whether your rig is up to spec. However, since it's completely free and you can get it off Steam with literally one click, what have you got to loose? (Be warned though, it can be quite overwhelming for a new player. There's quite a lot going on and the game prides itself on providing an experience of war chaos. You will die, a lot.)

Otherwise, GW2's WvW is quite okay and I hear battleground instances have improved a lot. Good value for money considering you get a whole AAA mmo attached to it just for the price of the box.

Both games give you straight out of the box PvP.. In GW2 instances you're automatically sidekicked to max level and given all weapons to choose from - absolutely level field. In GW2 RvR you're kicked to max level but have to work a bit for the gear and skill unlocks, but nothing too aggravating. PS2 has mainly horizontal progression - maxing out any build takes only a couple of days and weapon/gear unlocks are mostly horizontal - more dps for slower reloads, decreased overall stats for a situational underbarrel grenade launcher etc, that sort of thing. You might have to work a bit harder to cert up vehicles but it too is quite reasonable - a week at most to pimp out your tank for example.

Vendetta Online is a decently well-polished experience with MMORPG-like progression, including some sandbox mechanics; it is a twitch game (in a subgenre that is currently in vogue) in which it is possible to jump in to PvP inside a few hours and "pwn" due to one's own natural talent and situational awareness.  It is also fairly unique in that it can be played simultaneously across multiple interfaces: a pilot can navigate from the TV while a gunner on the same ship scans for targets on a tablet.  Vendetta includes player-driven manufacturing and diplomacy, revolving around conquerable content (presently, stations) and other social constructs such as guilds, alliances, etc., in a single, contiguous, persistent galaxy.  It also includes tools to create content that can be implemented to the game server through a rigorous process of peer and developer review (I may or may not have spent well over a thousand hours creating, developing, polishing, tweaking, and debugging content of my own for this game, as a regular player).

It's a very cool game.  It's at the epicenter of cool right now.  Cool is the primary adjecti... you get the idea image
