Guild Philosophy
The Order of the Silver Dragons (OSD) are a long-standing multi-division gaming community that was founded in 2006, and exists well beyond any one game, being involved in many gaming environments.
What makes the OSD unique is our ongoing commitment to mature interactions, our proud display of civility and concern, our desire for adventure and our healthy placement of value on individual effort and communications. We are known across many gaming servers for taking the high road when situations arise, and we pride ourselves in the knowledge that we will always strive to help others. Our continued success stems directly from the OSD officers of our community whom take it upon themselves to uphold these virtues, reminiscent of the fabled Knights of the Round Table, which in turn are mimicked by the community of players within the guild. The source of the success of the officers derives from the wisdom of our community leaders, who have been instrumental in the formation of such a strong community.
OSD consistently leverages our community talents and imaginations to enhance the gaming experience. We are not a hard-core guild, but our maturity level allows absolute respect for the various playing styles of the community, however we absolutely still engage in competitive play! Recruitment is an on-going active event between our current members, the leadership and the person who wants to join the OSD. The online forums symbolize the key to this success, being the heart and blood of this organization.
We are all proud to be members of the O.S.D.
What We Offer
Guild Requirements
In order to become apart of Silver Dragons, we have a 2 step application process. This helps to ensure that both you the applicant and we the Guild are on the same page and are a good fit for each other.
The first step is an application. Fairly straight forward and self explanatory. Head on over to our site to check it out!
The second step is what we like to call a Loyalty quest. At this point, you have already submitted an application that has been approved. You have been invited into the guild (in-game and on the forums) and hold the rank of Cupcake! In order to advance to full member (Dragon), we want to be sure that it's a good fit for both parties. In many guilds, in order to advance from the rank of "initiate" you must remain an active member for a certain period of time (say 2 weeks) before being promoted to full member status. In Silver Dragons, all "Cupcakes" must complete a Loyalty Quest before they are promoted to Dragon status. As the name suggests, the point of this quest is to prove your loyalty to the guild, and to expose you to cooperative gameplay with the guild. We feel this method is much more engaging than the typical "hang around for 30 days and don't *cupcake* anyone off" approach that many other guilds use.
So what does it entail? Well, there are many ways to complete a loyalty quest. You can complete Adventures, Dungeons, Battle Grounds, Raids, Warplots, host RP events, achieve a certain amount of forum posts (our forums, not here ), etc. all while grouped up with Guildies! The idea being that it allows you to experience gameplay with the guild, and allows us to experience gameplay with you. By the end of your loyalty quest, we are confident that both you and we will know if you've found a home. We think it's a very fun, very engaging process that promotes guild unity and cooperation, because that's what Silver Dragons are all about!

As long as you can be on teamspeak and type based on what we say (in guild/raid chat), then there would be no problem. We have had speaking impaired individuals in the past, so no problem there.
