I love NVIDIA, Unfortuntaly I had to go to Radeon the Asus Extream X800 or somthing like that. otherwise I would have had to wait like 3 weeks for the new Nvidia cards to come in but its still a sweet card nothing compared to this
Notice how they didn't rush to bench mark the system....wonder why. SLI is already ahead of it's time, untill games start making use of it, even 2 vid cards is a waste of money imo.
Good Lord....And here i am sitting, awaiting the arrival of my new comp with dual gtx7800 ... goddamnit, stop evolving technology >.<.
Oh just saw... Dell ... The case is looking nice, but dell is a big no-no for me (although they'll finally make AMD PCs i heard). I'll stick to my alienware... when it finally arrives... Stupid long Phase 7 .

What are you wanting them to benchmark? They gave you some of the specs of the card. That's all I ever see on the NVidia website for their products.
1.3 Billion Transistors 41 Gigpixels/sec 2GB of on-board graphics memory 5.2 TFlops of computing power
It looks amazing to me. Good thing I just got my annual raise at work. Can't wait until Spring when it comes out. I've never bought a Dell, but I might just consider it this time. Especially since they have the option for AMD chips now.
============================= It all seems so stupid It makes me want to give up But why should I give up When it all seems so stupid
I prefer building computers myself. I can make an awesome quad sli system for $2600. Alienware probably charge atleast 4k for a computer running on those specs.
Are you kidding me? Alienware will charge you more than that for one not even running at those specs. Believe me, I have one. :P
But honestly...why? I've yet to even play a game that I need 2 cars for, but 4 cards? I hope some super hardcore graphically inclined games are about to come out.

And this is the truth, but people are people.
For a mere 1000$ you can have a 5% performance incrence, YAY.
Insanity incarnate if you ask me.

LOL True gamers build their own.
Alienware is a waste of friggen money.

I don't mean this to be offensive, but building your own doesn't mean much of anything anymore. It's not like it takes an insane amount of knowlege to do it. All it takes is interest and desire. There's plenty of online tutorials and the like that make it fairly easy. Atleast I found it easy when I was building my first PC.
Alienware is technically a waste since you CAN build your own for less. Or even get someone else to build the same thing for less.
But then, the only people who worry about "wasting money" are poor people. :P

You not 1337 until you have Quad SLI only $1800.

SWEET!!! You're right OP. I bet EQ2 IS going to look incredible on this.
I love technology!!!

</OBAMA>
5% difference, huh?
GeForce 7800 SLI setup = 26 Billion pixels/sec
7800 Quad SLI setup = 41 Billion pixels/sec
I calculate that to be a lot more than 5%. I thought boys were better at math????

Looking at this the first thought that comes to mind is heating problems, second thought is overkill
Anskier
It doesn't give that much of a difference in todays games :P
But i bet you can save aload on your gas bills!!! Use that to heat your house

Don't click here...no2
sounds like someone has way too much money...
really, regular sli is a waste of time and money right now. there's no reason for quad any time soon.

Sounds like somebody doesn't have enough money and likes to put down others who do.
A waste of time? How? And if you've got the cash to spend, then it's not a waste of money.
