What will you be concentrating on in the upcomming beta?

personally my aims for the upcomming beta are..

-Crafting

-PvP

-Improving my combat skills (Blocking and interupting)

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

Gotta get them crafting skeelz up, man. Primary focus. Will be working on leveling up so I can put my crafted stuff to the test, though. So, story and crafting for me. PvP almost never appeals to me in a game that's got PvE in general, so I'm not worried about it.

    -Crafting

    -Story

To be honest I mostly just want my monkey this weekend. But I'll most likely spend my time in PvP or dungeons with friends. I've been in enough of the previous beta's to have seen everything I want to from them. I have 4 different characters between 15 and 18, although 2 are the same class, and at this point I don't want to burn myself out on the starting content before launch hits and I have to go through it all again. Though saying that, practicing my tanking with friends this weekend will come in useful for release, so I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing.

But yeah, for the most part I want to keep the game fresh and exciting. At the moment I'm pretty damn excited for it still and want to keep that up. All this being said, I'm sure it'll end like every other beta event I've been in, with me sitting sulking on the inside because ZOS has taken it away again lol.

I'll still be trying to hit the test goal of getting a crafting skill to ten, they advance much more slowly that character levels.  Not sure how much time I will spend though, the inability to go past the first major area in any given faction kind of kills the longevity now that characters carry over between tests.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
    Through passion, I gain strength.
    Through strength, I gain power.
    Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
    The Force shall free me.

I've been dabbling with multiple characters. Now that the skill calculators are out, I'll put my builds to the test. Focus on 1 character and see how I do with my theory crafted build

Oh and crafting I really was to push the testing (for me) on crafting.

As far as I understand collision detection wont be in this beta (one of the key things I want to try).

Every man and his dog will be crafting and scrounging for mats.

I'm not a theorycrafter as the first major update will have them spouting anger at the gods.

I think I'll just take my little Redguard from the last beta and explore every square inch of Cyrodiil.

I may roll an Aldmeri toon though and have a look at that content as I don't plan to see it on go live (well not until post cap anyway).

Playing: Darkfall New Dawn (and planning to play Fallout 76)
Favourite games have included: UO, Lineage2, Darkfall, Lotro, Baldur's Gate, SSX, FF7 and yes the original Wizardry on an Apple IIe

They have kindly requested if players could look at the following during this beta test (information from beta patch notes)

    TEST GOALS

For this test, we have a few goals we’d like you to try to reach while playing the game.

    • Attain level 10 on at least one character.
    • Reach Rank 10 in any crafting skill.
    • Find and complete at least one group dungeon.
    • Travel to Cyrodiil and participate in the Alliance War.

It is a test and the goals are pretty straightforward. By the looks of it they are just asking players to sample the range of activities to give as broad a feedback as possible.

I completed all those test goals already.  I going to try to craft a set from a special location.  Also see if I can complete the end of Glenumbra, (a bugged quest kept me from finishing last time), and PVP.  Maybe roll in another alliance if I have time.
