As alpha players work their way through the content and building process in Everquest Next: Landmark, they are quickly discovering the power of the grappling hook to build and to travel to heretofore unreachable locations. In the latest Building Blocks video, the EQN:L team shows off a few ways the mighty grappling hook can be used. In addition, the latest EQN Roundtable takes on the question of Multiple Starting Areas. Check out both videos before chatting in the comments.

they've told us Landmark will contain player made content.  Next will have content developed in house.  so,  the info your getting about Landmark,  is also info about Next.

    Holy bionic commando!!!

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

The building tools are too restrictive and buggy at the moment. It's not really fun to build, it's more of a chore trying to express yourself. I don't really believe we're using the same tools as the devs.

The game itself runs badly no matter what setting you have it at.

I'm going to hold off on further testing until some of this stuff is resolved.
