So I had a chance to play this weekends beta. I got to lvl 22 (Templar) with my guild. I really REALLY enjoyed myself. I love the fact that you can kill so quickly. It really gives a realistic feeling to battles. Nothing annoys me more in MMOs and FPS alike then pvp where a healer can heal through 5 peoples DPS (WoW, Planetside, Battlefield (Normal Mode)). The gameplay felt fluid and responsive. One thing I did not like was the menu system, it felt awkward.
If I can pass one thing along is its almost impossible to enjoy this game solo in PVP. You really need a Guild to appreciate this game. I was exclusively with my 10 man guild. We were capable of holding back about 40 man zergs because of superior strategy and the fact people died quickly. I will certainly be preordering and I hope to see you guys at launch. Btw I recorded all gameplay footage (including the multiple times we took on 3 times our numbers) and will be posting the vid soon after editing .
Aldmeri Dominion FTW!

It's good to hear you enjoyed the game. I enjoyed the PvP myself, as well. One thing to note, however. The most likely reason you were killing people so fast was because you were at a pretty high level compared to most people who jumped into pvp. Most of us were at the very bottom: level 10. You will find that level discrepancy makes a huge difference in PvP. You end up cutting through the lower levels like butter. But once everybody is at equal levels, it will be much harder and take longer to kill people.
Yeah. They've been playing a lot with the bolstering system the past few weekends. For all practical purposes only the PTS players with 50 or 50++ characters who don't get bolstered have an advantage in stats.
But those in their 30s or 40s do have a slight advantage in that they've unlocked some of the better abilities deep down in the trees that people in their teens don't have access to.

I'm going to need to see that video proof to believe that AD was outnumbered, anywhere. :P
I'm kidding because some of the popular campaigns were loaded with AD and EP, but we did go to one where DC was dominant.
