Curious to find out how many solo players there will be leveling up
How will your leveling play style be for leveling up?
Why do you prefer to play that way?

I would argue that being in Cyrodiil doesn't necessarily mean you aren't soloing. There is a difference between playing next to others while working toward the same goal, and actually playing with others.
I will mostly be soloing, primarily because I don't like the need to factor other people's schedules into how I plan out my gaming time. If I have two hours where I feel like playing a game, I want to be able to just sit down and spend two hours playing it, not check to see if my normal groupmates are online before deciding whether to play, or spend half an hour putting together a PUG before actually getting around to playing.
So other than finding groups for the content that actually requires them, because of my completionist urges, I will be soloing. (Both in the PvE and PvP areas, don't have to join a group to join the zerg.)

I've always enjoyed leveling in a group. But with this game, it'll be an exercise in fustration. Anyone leveling in a group will get annoyed on a massive level with all the phasing and bugs related to it. This is a 'fun' game, but the bugs related to grouping are all over the place.
This will be my first mmo where I will level solo just because I want to keep my hair.
Hello, welcome to 2014, where that opinion stopped being influential ten years ago.

Some quest instances produce forced separation even if you are grouped up with someone who is at the same stage. Bit strange for an mmo (as in multi-player) but that's the way certain story quests have been set up.
So it begs the question - what's the point of grouping up if you're going to be forced to solo these quests anyway?
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
Of course it should be. Not all great minds think alike my friend. I play solo for more immersive game play, not having to fly though quests and content that I would like to take my time and enjoy like fine wine. I also prefer meeting new players in dungeons and pick up raids. You can always have a social network from your friends list that does not include a guild or real life friends always.
I voted group/friends because I enjoy it more and have more fun usually. However, without a healthy solo game, it's naive to think a game won't fail because of that. Even Everquest (which yes, I still play daily heh) had to introduce the mercenary NPC system so people could effectively "solo" (called Molo in this case) for the change in dynamics.
Without solo content, an MMO will fail in this day and age, even though I still prefer to have the social aspect myself.
Currently Playing: ESO and FFXIV
Have played: You name it
If you mention rose tinted glasses, you better be referring to Mitch Hedberg.
it should be.
but sadly ' solo ' is not an option in teso anyway.
Actually you can solo from 1-50. and then you can even do 50+ and 50++ content solo if you wish also.
sure but you can't sell stuff, u need a guild.
And when Blizzard laughed all the way to the bank because they were among the first to realize that not everyone wanted to group all the time.

Considering you can have up to 7 guilds, I'm sure one of them will be soley for the purpose of selling and trading. It wont force you to have to level up with them or do anything more then trade.
I'm enjoying very much of this game, but as i said before, group/party is allways essencial in an mmorpg. And i think it's so obvious that doesn't need much arguments. Soloing is normal, yeah we all do it all the time, but sometimes we got lots of fun with friends, those technical dungeons that seem got no end, even normal quests. Above all, it's a self choice to enjoying and have fun, because this is just a game.
Due to my preferred play style, I level-up more slowly than anyone I have ever met !
I like to explore, to stop and appreciate the view. To sit down under a tree and watch the world go by, or sit on a town square and watch players rushing about. I can spend hours looking for alchemical reagents. I like climbing every rockpile just to see the view from the top...
So I'll most likely play mostly solo for the first few months. After that I'll want to get into some AvA, which is when I'll join a guild and play mostly grouped.
^ This is what I do as well. While I do plan to group for AvA, 99% of my PvE experience will be exploring, gathering, crafting and questing at my own pace.
Not to mention there are in-game books to read!
I'd feel terrible holding up my partymembers while I sit there and read a book they have zero interest in; and I'd start to feel "blah" about the game if I skipped things just to please others.
So, for the first couple of months (or however long it takes me to complete the story experience) I'll be flying solo, not counting the occasional dungeon crawling and PvPing.
