I have been looking around various retailers for the best deal on TESO - and have noticed some do not mention the 30 days free trial.
I approached a customer rep, and that rep said they could not confirm 30 free days were included with the game.
I wanted to check: does TESO automatically offer 30 free days to all new subscribers, or is the 30 days free only available to people who buy the more expensive version from their own store?
Thanks!

If you pop over to eBay UK and buy a 5 day early access code for the Imperial edition, you will just get 5 days early access plus Explorers pack, horse etc
After launch on 4.4.14 you'll need to buy and apply a retail key to your account.
A 5 day early access key costs a few $

If you mention rose tinted glasses, you better be referring to Mitch Hedberg.
Why on earth would you want to buy a 5-day early access, and then buy a CE at launch ?
You don't really think they will let you enter a 5-day early access code (which is only issued to CE pre-orders) and then enter a standard edition code on that same account to continue playing, do you ? I suppose ZOS could be that stupid, but I'm certainly not going to bet money on it.
The whole reason why they split it into 2 keys was to prevent people pre-ordering a CE to get the 5-day early access and then cancelling on the last day so they could switch to a cheaper version (while having scored the early access).
With the 2-key system, they can ensure that the Early Access key type matches the game type used to activate the account.
Why believe me ?
