Looking for new MMORPG

Hello .. I'm new.  Any suggestions for a great MMORPG that is not first person (it makes me dizzy) that is in the style of NWN?  I'm just looking for a new game to play.  Prefered non-p2p, but if it's good please suggest it anyways :D

    Are you looking for a retail game... retail game with a monthly fee... or just an all around free game?

    Free is always good image  However, I'd be more than willing to pay for a good game, and if it's really good, I'd be willing to pay 2 play .. image  So that is my order of preference image

    I ask to myself, why don't people read? I mean your just posting for a free MMORPG, when theres 2 threads going on On the Same Page! That says FREE MMORPG? Do you know how to read those forums.

    Well here it is

    First you have to find the message, then when you see the forum you are looking to read, you have to 'single click' not double click many people double click, its a single click then it should load up the page, then you scroll down with the 'scrollbar' on your left. And there you have it, that's how you read the forums.

    Right now there are so many upcoming mmorpgs to choose from.  Everquest, Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot are the 'old school'  of mmorpgs, but there are lots of new 'second generation' mmorpgs that should be better at least in terms of graphics.  Star Wars Galaxies recently came out and while the graphics are superb the gameplay has been sharply criticized.  Other soon to release games are City of Heros, Horizons and there has been lots of recent talk (although less actual information) about the next version of Ultima Online - Ultima X: Odyssey.  I'm hoping that UXO will be the next big mmorpg and that incorporates some of the history of Ultima into the game.  I grew up playing Ultimas and would love to see a mmorpg using the old ultima games as a blueprint.  Anyway what you should do is research all of the upcoming games and see which one suits your personality the best.

    I am currently playing EQ but really biding my time for Horizons....which comes out sometime this fall...there is a contest here on this site to win beta spots...

    Sorry, I actually did see them, I checked out the lot and found that the majority were first-person, and I was looking for third-person (or whatever NWN/Diablo II/Baldur's Gate style is)  I'll go back and re-check them though, maybe I missed a few?

    Runescape 3 is actually really good. It definitely breathed new life into the old game.

    Here is a link to the greatest game of all time - people on this website hate this game because it has killed off all other games due to its tremendous success. The truth is, it's a very fun, deep lore, friendly community, highly addictive game that has really become an iconic part of gaming culture. 

    Do yourself a favor .... Sign up for the free trial, give it a shot. Once you get going and find the right people to play with ( and you will trust me - there are all walks of life playing this) then you will be glad you came here and asked for advice.
