Had to make this poll. A lot of feed back is coming from peoples previous Elder Scrolls encounters, and I for one, have never played a single one. ESO is only one that truly caught my eye.

I've only heard of two of those lol.

Oblivion and Skyrim only.
Spent 876 hours in Skyrim to date, but I've not finished the main storyline yet... or played any of the DLC's !
Have used quite a few mods though.
I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and loved them all.
Also a huge FO3 fan

I agree from playing the beta. Too much on rails.
I started with Morrowind. Got Oblivion and could not get into it. Skyrim I have put almost as many hours as Morrowind (~2000) thus far (still playing). I also downloaded Bethesda's free copies of Arena and Daggerfall. I can not get into either of those because of their mouse movement combat style, though I really wish I could get past that and get into Daggerfall. I hear it is a better game than Morrowind...

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR
Oblivion and skyrim, I've played morrowind as well but that was after oblivion.
I disagree though that many here can be fans from the beginning, if I recall the originals arena or daggerfall didn't really sell that many copies.. the popularity of the franchise didn't really go mainstream until morrowind and release on consoles.
They sold just fine for the time period when they released. The audience was a lot smaller then.

Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. I don't even want to know how many hours I've clocked between those three, especially after mods and add-ons.
Loving TESO so far.
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
Staring at my original Arena: Elder Scrolls box and the 13 3.5" floppies the game is on.
So, yes since the start.

Me too. With mods and all Oblivion and Skyrim are perpetual.

Morrowind was awesome. Didn't care much for oblivion either, too much copy/paste, couldn't continue after my 2nd dungeon and Oblivian gate. Skyrim is the most immersive RPG I've ever plated.

Played since Arena (horse animation for travel took forever on my computer) , but I did skip Battlespire and Redguard.
I just want them to redo the engine for TES 6 because the animations and controls are still kinda choppy and odd even in Skyrim. That's been the only real complaint I have against the series, same thing in Fallout. They need to take a page from some action rpg's like Fable or KoA: Reckoning on animations and character fluidity; and then keep all the amazing things they did from Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and you'd have the perfect Rpg I think. The First person controls are pretty good it's the 3rd person view that kills the immersion a bit.
I have yet to really get into EsO though. I've tried the beta twice, and honestly I think I prefer Skyrim with the Dlc's. Having other people in the world is awesome, I just don't like that they changed so many of the key mechanics that the series is famous for in order to compensate for what people consider required in an MMO. Plus if you're not a Pvper, (I am) where is the endgame content?
I feel like playing my Werewolf Paladin Vampire Hunter Smithing Enchanter with a side of Dragon Riding now. Bye bye.
Ps: I love the series, but as far as Mmo's go, I'm really waiting on Wildstar.
Played Daggerfall, and I was like running all over the place and thinking "WTF am I doing?". Night time and town is closed? No problem! Just fly in!
Played Oblivion, and hilariously, I played it like a themepark, followed the storyline, completed it, and considered it finished.
The possibility of the universe collapsing into a singularity is higher than the birth of a perfect MMORPG.
All the Elder Scrolls games are themeparks. They are just large, open world themeparks.
