Greetings everyone,
My name (in game) is Sivarik and it will be my pleasure to meet you.
First about the guild: Riders of Bal Fell is a new guild created specifically for ESO. We (my wife Nysi and I) have played dozens of MMOs since 1999 (yes, we are old) starting with Ultima Online and have built a few guilds along the way. We will be adding other people looking for a home, not just a guild tag. Right now we have a handful of members, so we will be looking for people who want to build the guild into a world power from the ground up. We intend to be active in all facets of the game. We will eventually ask that you be passionate about defending our realm, but don’t worry if you don’t feel it initially – the hatred of the Covenant and the Dominion will grow.
We intend to pledge our support to the Ebonheart Pact, where we will engage in the alliance war as well as all other activities. Our goal is to take a keep within the first week of Cyrodiil being open. While not PvPing, we will be grouping, crafting and doing anything else that looks fun. We will use voice chat services for PvP and difficult PvE content, but will never require you to speak if you don't want to.
The Riders will be a friendly place for you to hang your hat. If previous games are any indication we will also be quite competitive.
All (18+ as ESO is rated M) are welcome who are friendly, passionate and willing to fall in battle in support of the Pact. The guild motto is “from the ashes we ride”, which is both a reference to the Riders and to the ruins of Bal Fell. (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Bal_Fell)
For those who are interested in becoming an officer, it is an easy process, recruit good players and you will be promoted. There will be positions for war and raid leaders, but these will be volunteer positions and not necessarily officers.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we welcome you with open arms and a large bottle of your preferred drink.
If you are interested in the guild, head on over to our forums at http://www.balfell.com

Sounds fun but darn, why Ebonheart.
I am going Daggerfall myself.
Best of luck to you Ghern - I can't say the same for the Daggerfell Covenant.
Ebonheart was chosen because several people wanted to play Dunmer. We will of course welcome other races into the guild - even Bretons who have realized that Emeric is a just a future deposed dictator.
Update:
We are approaching our first ten members and should bypass it this weekend. Thank you to everyone who has joined so far!
Update March 9th:
The site has been updated to include a quick application for membership.
Happy Hunting & see you in game this weekend.
