Yeah I know im a carebear. But i've never been a big fan of forced pvp. I do enjoy it but I rather have the choice. Are there any servers in lineage II where pvp is not forced?
Nope, there are no other servers than the regular L2 servers. Seems like NCSoft NA is reluctant to make any kind of change to the game that E&G has developed. Would be nice if we could get a server that gave more items drops, more adena, and more xp, but alas NCSoft NA is not the kind of company that wants to make any risks at all. Who knows how many more people in NA and Europe they could have attracted if they had done something like this.

Well the PvP in L2 isn't "forced" like in any MMORPG if you dont like it no one is "forcing" you to play As L2 is clearly advertised as a PvP game everyone knows what they are getting into. Beside that, L2's content really isn't geared for PvE play. Without at least the threat of PvP you would be bored to tears just grinding for the sake of a number. The content is mainly in the compitition between players and the Guild wars at higher levels.
If you do some research about L2 you will see although it is Open PvP it is not free for all. Does that stop people from harrassing noobs in the starter areas? nope.
I would suggest f you are interested in playing to research the game on some actual L2 website rather then here.
Hey Desalus, I thought I read they are going to tweek the drop tables a bit in C4. (I forgot where) They are probably reluctant to drastically change anything because it might upset the player base. (these guys are not like Sony) Keep in mind, L2 worldwide is number 2 is number of subscribers behind WoW. NCSoft would need to be careful not to unbalance the game in any way.

find a good clan, that dosen´t want to pvp as you... the game is open PvP, but theys pentaltys to players who kill someone white like Karma, goes higher and higher up depeing on your pk count and big chances off dropping when you have over 5pks. In your Early lvls you probly be killede a few times bye red´s but when you get to lvl 40 its highly unlicky you be forcred into pvp, unleass you want to and research about the servers abit
More so than other games, L2 hangs together as a whole, and is geared to clan pvp. The castle siege system is the apex of clan pvp. And the number of mobs you need to ko is gruesome. So if you want a pure pve environment, there must be much better games.

Well Lionna is unoffical RP server. You are not forced to PvP though, any server you can join and you can avoid PvP.
