Looking for subscription based non linear progression MMORPG

I don't want any quest hub crap.I'm searching for something with a decent sub-based optionally sandboxy non-sci-fi game.

Any advise would be helpful.Thanks for your time.

    Asheron's Call.  It's old but it's awesome.  Quests of all levels are pretty much scattered around the whole map.  You can grind mobs or run quests for xp.  You can get gear from quests or from looting monsters.  "Crafting" type skills can enhance looted items.  You can build your own class with whatever skills you want.  Player housing.  Optional pvp on most servers or a full pvp server.

    I know a very good medieval Sandbox game you have there so much skills you can craft armors and weapons with hundreds of materials, you can create your own house everywhere you want and you can also lead a Guild castle and more ! Outside from the Cities you can find robbers and more this game is an Open World PvP and this is rly fun !

    I was sadly and unfortunately an Alpha backer for MO and thats an old story but no thanks.That game has no future to me.

    For AO.. That's really old = )

    I was gone for a while so I haven't followed the news.

     

    Larsa was building a list of sandboxes.  I found the thread.

    As of right now there is really no choice for that specific type of game. There are a couple in development that look interesting, but they are still being made, so who knows how they will end up. The only thing to do now is troll forums about the current type of games or find another hobby until those types of games exist.
