I'm not bashing the people who get tired of "easy" mmos like Wow and Gw.
But saying you lvled your priest to 60 in a week and a half...I don't think your gonna get the respect your looking for.
Now that I have a job as well as taking classes I have to ask.

i dont have time anymore im working like 35 hours a week going to high school and my girlfriend gets the rest of my time.
and then the remainder of my time goes to my friends(or the couple i have still since i have decided to make better choices then them)

Only game i have technically power leveled in would be CoH and anyone who was in CoH from Beta would agree it wasnt hard to PL to fifty in a few weeks and largely it was enough fun that it didnt feel like grinding.
As for the lifeless zombies that max out characters in EQ2 in a similar amount of time... I agree with you its just mindless... and to a certain extent it ruins the fun of the game too.
MMORPG's are supposed to be a marathon not a sprint.

it always takes me a month~2 months to hit lvl 60 with WoW. and I have a lot of free time. but then again, I play a Paladin so I don't know if that counts.
Are Paladins exceptionally slow in levelling?
(Oh, and "first language" DOES mean "primary language", but "it's" means "it is"...)

I have a few lvl 60's in WoW usually takes me about a month to lvl to 60 and i have a 40 houor a week job + an active social life. I am lucky though as i don't need much sleep 4 hours a night is as good for me as 8 hours is for most

No... he was correct in saying its 'first language'.
As for the original topic... I'm a student and work part time, so I spose I can play a 'normal' amount of hours a week. I've seen a lot of school kids (in WoW obviously) put serious hours into it, because although they have homework etc they generally have very little commitments compared to the rest of us. As for the true powergamers, I've always been baffled by how they manage it... perhaps they all own their own companies or are living off royalties or something?

well i can post while i work......
i work in tech support at a finance company and at 17 make 12.50 and hour i might get a raise soon.
so most of my "work time" is spent twirling my thumbs posting on these forums.
i normally post from work(where i am now) between the hours of 2:30-8 on weekdays.......
and then on saturdays i come in and update the servers, do windows updates defrag them all etc.
so i can live on this site while im at work.
and i can post from my ipaq as long as theres a wireless network around.
so i can post virtually 90% of the time because we have wi fi at school, then i go to work.
except for when im out with my girlfriend or friends i can post on this site while doing anything else i do......
