Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: Game Time Cards Now Available at Retailers

Today Square-Enix has announced that game time cards for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn are now available across the country in retailers.  Like other games' promotions, $29.99 will get you 60 days of game time. Read on for the full release.

Available at the Square Enix Online Store and participating retailers in North America for $29.99, each Game Time Card adds 60-days worth of game time onto an account, subject to account limits.



FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn is available now for $39.99 on the PlayStation®3 system and $29.99 for Windows PC. A free 30-day trial is included for new accounts, with monthly subscriptions starting at $12.99.

    Yeah but if you're on the $12.99 monthly plan you lose $4 ? Or I guess you're at the next sub tier for 2 months?

    Looks like you'd probably be at the next sub tier for 2 months.  I notice looking at the site the 12.99 option is a by month basis to do the 3 or 6 month plans it falls under the 14.99 tier.

    To me looks completely normal paying for time cards more. There are expenses for materials, delivery and also shop that sells must have some profit.

    These cards cost less than a dollar to make. They get plenty of profit from selling them.

    Anyway, paying for these time cards gets you the higher tiered subscription plan which lets you have multiple characters on each server. It's only more expensive in that if you were to purchase a multi month plan with a credit card you'd get a slight discount of maybe 10%.
