after my first beta I picked up the imperial edition

T his was my first beta weekend and the game impressed me enough to spend extra money on the Imperial Edition. The games main problems as of now are bugged quests. Quit hating on the game. It runs great, graphics are great, combat is ok. Crafting seems like it will be cool. AND it will also take time to  learn and train things when it comes to crafting and finding reciipes .

 

All in all in good game. I have played most since ultima online until now and I am excited . [mod edit] It very close to a polished game very close to release. It will have some issues but any big game like this with so many people going to play always does...

Don't liuke it don't play it . Seems like a fun game to me  until eq next comes out. Who knows this might even still hold my attention

    I tried it this weekend and played till 2:30 am the first morning, hard to stop. After all the trash talk I read from the haters I didn't;t think It was going to be as good as IT WAS. Been stuck on world of tanks for awhile now waiting for something decent to take its place. Here is an example " I came to a chest that takes a lock picking tool to open it and you usually get some nice items wit the locked chests. I have opened a few so my chances on beating the timer was decent. When I opened it one of the items was a treasure map as a picture with a boat and some trees with a X under one tree. I went down the coast a ways and found what looked like the picture and dug up the treasure. Got a purple item and gold."  Now I have to wait 2 1/2 weeks for this game to come out which my wife is happy about, I'm not. Graphics are clean and I didn't notice any lagging but read about some people that do. Maybe they are playing on laptops or have dial up modems not sure. I bet the PVP battles with 100 people will lag till they work the bugs out but I didn't get that far. Just level  6 of 2 classes. Like the op says, if you don't like it move on and quit lagging my game   :  )   Also I have been playing these games since EQ1 and this will hold me till EQ next most likely. Maybe longer. World of Tanks 26k battles name movindude.

    It's quite a good game yes, different enough from other MMOs in the way it deals with various things.

    Let's just hope they've got all the major bugs sorted out by release.  It's success or failure - I think - solely depends now upon how clean (bug-free) they can make it for then.

    I had pre-ordered a Standard Edition from GMG. Cancelled it yesterday after playing the Beta.

    No way i am paying $48 for this game.

    Nope, absolutely no way.

    I instead decided to spend my money on something i like and got a Imperial Edition.
