Due to just moving into a new apartment and having many costs associated with that, I will be unable. to preorder this game. As a result I won't have access to the explorers pack. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of the race/faction setups to the point that if forced to play with the current race/faction limitations then I won't be purchasing the game.
So, my question is, is there any information as to whether or not the explorers pack will be available for purchase after launch?

Apparently the explorer's pack is only a pre-order thing.
But, I bet you could acquire it's items after launch by other means (scuttler vanity pet and treasure maps).
From what I can make out explorer's pack will not be available after release, or at least not at this time. But I have read that the imperial pack will be available as an upgrade from the 4th onwards.
I've got to admit that I'm not 100% sure about this but it is the impression I get from reading other sites.
I agree. This will be the next thing on the Cash Shop.
Im starting to understand how they plan to make money now. Not just he sub+ box price, add the Cash Shop and they will be making money left and right.
Just imagine what would happen if they decide to stick to their "original vision" of having faction-locked races ?
Imagine if the "any race, any faction" was REALLY only a pre-order special perk ?
Yeah, unthinkable eh ?
it's unclear if it's preorder only - will have to see with the release

Except that if you register a pre-order code on your account, you also have to register a game code within a few days of launch, otherwise you lose the pre-order benefits. Why do you think they went to all the hassle of using a dual-code system ?
Now, if you try this scam you might get away with it if you're prepared to beg and scream and pretend the dog ate your retail game code. On the other hand, you may not.
a lot of mmos that have said pre order only, usually end up as a optional purchase right after launch, minus some of the CE bonuses, but this is just a pre order bonus. so only time will tell imo
