Finally I got the 3rd email. Although it is still the same (automated email), here's the 3rd email after 8 days since issue raised.
Furthermore, I get a feeling that there are some very childish player in the game (m****d). Thanks for bringing the community score down.
Ok, I will wait for another week before rating.
Also, I suspect that Vortec and Fizzle are also unable to get hold of the support crew. Still, thanks for the help.
Also, notice how they changed their tone to become more understanding. See that line on apologize for any inconvenience caused. (The 2nd message have no such words that empathize with you) Hmm, seems that they are getting more professional.
Thank you for your e-mail, our apologies for the late reply.
Due to the large number of e-mails received regarding the password changes made to a large number of accounts yesterday, we are forced to send you this automated reply. The purpose of this message is to gather all required information in order to resolve this problem as soon as possible. We require the following information from you if your password e-mail has not arrived due to a inactive e-mail address or a related issue.
1. Your username 2. Your old, currently registered and inactive e-mail address. 3. Your current active and working e-mail address, for us to register to your account. 4. The last six digits and expiration date on your registered credit card's number, if your account is paid for with a credit card. 5. The cd-key registered to your account if your account was registered with a game box cd-key. 6. Any additional information you have, for example birthday, address and location registered to the account if the above does not apply to your account.
When we receive this information we will do our best to give you access to your account as soon as possible.
If you have received this e-mail and do not have a password related problem, then please update your incident to let us know and we will resolve your problem as soon as possible.
Also, if you have filed multiple incidents about the same issue, then please close all but one of those incidents to help us resolve your case sooner. Filing multiple incidents for each case only slows our service down.
Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and we assure you that we are doing our very best to get you back online.
Best regards, The EVE Online Customer Support Team
Iknow why the origonal poster was unable to connect to eve it seems that someone has hacked into the eve database and hijacked several accounts .so to fix this all acount passwords have been reset you need to open your e-mail and find a special eve mail there which will emnable you to change ypur password.
If this dont work then go to the eve website and do it manully by going to the account section and selecting forgot password.
Finally ill say that there is a backlog in sending out the eve-mails due to the sheer number they have to do with asmall server.
Good things: - good graphics - big map - lot of ships - specialisation of player (unfortunatelly just 1 char can learn stuff at same time) - nice community in corp when u have a good corp - have more than 1 instance running on 1 comp - arranging things together with other players (mining, dungeon, transport, war) - good map travel system, auto-pilot
Bad things: - lag in non-0.0 systems - takes too long to get in some action - not much different missions - some bugs - lag in 0.0 area when it gets into combat - u can lose a lot when u aren't carefully (ship, implants, devices, even xp) - its ok that big ships cant hit small fast ships, but not that bad. i mean when u build an Apoc.. dont u have weapons against small fighters?! sure u can equip but then u suck vs big ships. anyway i think its a need for the game to be so. - its horrible to travel without bookmarks in big ships - the messages popping up on middle of screen -> make an info box for this - u sometimes have so many windows open that u cant see the space anymore
When u like science fiction and ships, give it a try, its the best mmorpg out there for that atm. But earth and beyong was the best game i've ever played. Damn nice community and well, it made fun all the time...
Based on CCP's track record after every major expansion or patch they've been notorious in delayed responsed to customers. This is usually due to their response technique of first come/first server basis.
I can understand your frustration and believe me, I've been there many times when I played it. After major patches I learned to give CCP about 2-7 days to readjust since they are prolly getting hammered with the same type of questions and requests of ppl in the same situation as you are in now.
Read the forums and see if there are any other gamers having the same type of issue or problems. See if there is a recognition of the issue by CCP staff members. Send another email about your concern. Hope this helps.
Part of the problem is when people send in multiple requests for the SAME ISSUE. One of the gm's put up a post the other day that one player sent in 17!!!! Help requests for the same issue. The GM staff is REQUIRED to go through each of them, read them and reply, so every person who does this just fills up the queue with useless garbage, and that effects everyone with a legitimate problem.
They have been getting hammered since the RMR patch and now the whole hacked account thing, so cut them a little slack on being slow. As someone said they will credit your account for any playtime lost which is more than can be said for many other mmo's.

I rate half of your bad things as good things and many people would agree with me - u can lose a lot when u aren't carefully (ship, implants, devices, even xp) - its ok that big ships cant hit small fast ships, but not that bad. i mean when u build an Apoc.. dont u have weapons against small fighters?! sure u can equip but then u suck vs big ships. anyway i think its a need for the game to be so. - its horrible to travel without bookmarks in big ships
All good things, all force you to use teamwork and stop the biggest= best rule of thumb from other MMOs.
Further more the lag will all be fixed when they triple server capacity at the end of february, and it doesnt take too long to get into action if you are actually good at the game.

I dont know how much implants go for, but losing them aint funny at all i still have mine but u always have this feeling when u go into fleet combat, i bet u know what i mean
About big ship vs small ship, as i said it needs to be so, but well sometimes it sucks.
U can't tell me that u having fun when u get mission and its 2+jumps away, so u cant fit speed boosting equipment in. Now travel with ur battleship without bookmarks >.< Little maths: Jumping at gate to 15k distance, 2,5k entering gate so 12,5k to fly self. For example apoc speed was about ~150m/s?! i think and we take 4 jumps to mission. That makes ~83 seconds of boring flying each gate, 4 jumps -> ~333 secs -> 5 1/2 minutes. Oh we forgot the way back lol. Additional 5 1/2 mins, so 11minutes wasting of the time from ur life lol. I dont count in the time getting into warp, that is ok.
I mean, when u are used flying with bookmarks it sucks not having them when u are slow with ship.
Hmm and about the lag ok every mmorpg lags in a way... I can remember a fleet combat we had, ~50 vs 70 ships (big ships). It sometimes takes a while till they meet each other, some spying on the enemy fleet etc. So we were at a gate, at about 50k distance then that ~70 jumped in... That lag was a record lol. Changing any things of ur weapons to adjust to a range took about 4-6 more time than normal. End of february more server capacity sounds nice, but i dont really trust on the time they mention for updates and such things, in most cases it takes additional time.
I forgot to mention the good thing ur body pumps adrenalin when getting into combat There is no game u get that much adrenalin i think lol.

Cyber, As far as missions go (and the jumping!), it seems like most of the time an agent gives you missions that are roughtly in the same area and tend to be within a few jumps. It's not hard to make Instajumps for these routes and just keep them in seperate folders.
