MMO Guilds ---> How does your guild use Facebook?

Greetings All !
Say, the guild I'm in has a Facebook page, but it's just that... a personal page named with the guild's name instead of a human.
The other day, I discovered our guild's name was "opened" as a domain name, so I snagged that. I had some web space available so I started developing a basic page. Of course, I then started thinking, what else do I want on this site? Keeping in mind that most guild websites are unused Ghost Towns and we already HAVE a fairly-active Facebook page, that got me to thinking:
What would I want in a Guild Website that we don't have on our Facebook page?
At first, I was just thinking... I'd like a Link Directory (where I can put really important info that I don't want to scroll down into Facebook history)... and maybe a FAQ page answering some questions about the guild.
I started googling on that, and I found that I could probably use some Facebook Apps for that! And I also found that there are other apps for, say, linking a Youtube Video channel. OK, so now I was getting excited about maybe just "beefing up" our Facebook page instead.
I tried to look at one app, but it offered to link itself ONLY to a Facebook Group I own and manage... and a Facebook "Page" for a local business district that I was invited to be a sub-Admin for a few weeks back (not sure if that's a Facebook "Fan Page" but it's definitely in my sub-menu on Facebook for "Pages").
So then I started wondering: Gee, should we convert our guild's Facebook (personal) page into a ... Group... or a Fan Page? ( A quick Google confirmed you can't turn a "page" into a "group".)
At this point, I thought I'd better look around / ask around and see what other very-active guilds are doing / how they're set up on Facebook.
Can anybody provide some guidance / their experiences here?

And maybe you're not the sort of member we're looking for. Most of our players are not hardcore. We're casual. Most members are between 20-50 years old. And right now, Facebook is how we keep in touch.
