I just want to point this out again. Here is the link first.
Today the API changes were announced. There are people happy with this and people not happy about this.
I want to encourage anyone and everyone to drop in tomorrow and make their voice heard, regardless of what your opinion is on the subject.
I'm fearful of small vocal groups trying to make this into their own personal soapbox, so I think lots of people need to tune in.
Thanks,
J

How does this work?
Where do i ask my questions?
And when do i ask them?
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
What did they do to the API? I used one where i could see the NPC`s HP and my damage numbers and buffs.
I would not play without seeing my own damage numbers and buffs... i can live with not seeing the enemy`s hp/mana/whatever for but a MMO to work you need to be able to see if outfit/weapon A is better compared to B and by how much.
Did they touch this? I thought they are only nerfing automation...
I still got no clue how and where to post the questions for this AMA?
is it a real time thing, and how do they want to answer thousands of real time questions live?

I'm not a reddit user, so this just a guess, but I imagine its in real time. My advice, if you want to participate would be to ask those questions on reddit in the next few hours before it begins.
Then you won't be playing.
They've removed the ability to see anything on an enemy (no stats, no buffs). The only thing you can see from an enemy is the total damage you received on a hit, but NOT even who did that damage to you (i.e. no names of mobs or players), also you don't get to see what damage type was done to you, such as, fire damage, poison damage, etc.
You also can't see buffs on YOURSELF that are less than 30 seconds in duration, so you will have no idea when a buff that may be increasing your crit chance ends.
