..when you asked a player "How old are you?" and he answered "30-40" and you felt kinda good, because you were much younger like 19-20?
How do you feel now when someone (19-20 years old) is asking you the same question?

^^ Same here. I find my patience is not what it used to be. I expect expedient typists, intellectual communication, multiple syllables and the like...
Now it's all about, "sup" for hello, and boobs, farts, and pot references.
About at that age where I might have to accept it's over lol.
I still feel like killing the lying fucks
you know who you are
sadly I added 1 or 2 more.
Regarding the "expedient typists", I like how it takes so long to get a response typed in; and then it's laden with mistakes that they either didn't notice or were too lazy to correct.
I swear, someone should just call up the Dictionary Overlords and ask them to switch the definitions of "lose" and "loose". That would significantly reduce the rate of mistakes found online.
I guess I'm old, but I prefer to think of myself as "classic" :P
This is my nightmare scenario.
I'm thinking, it's a cop I should troll him for a while, play the player. Then I think, what if it is a 12 year old girl? I'd feel like dirt if I messed with her mind even if she did forget it half an hour later.
Done it... still a friend with her today ) and nowadays she's more than legal :P (btw before anyone says anything I was 16 when she was 12, not much pedo there).
That's why I never chat in mmorpgs these days.
Calm before the storm, sweetheart. You're not going to be liking it so much in another 10-15, and those 10-15 aren't going to last as long as the first or second 10-15.
And as far as Professor Kaku talking about extending life... so did Sagan, no such luck. There's just too much money to be made off the decrepit, why let them live well?
'Sandbox MMO' is a PTSD trigger word for anyone who has the experience to know that anonymous players invariably use a 'sandbox' in the same manner a housecat does.

No game is more fun than the one you can't play, and no game is more boring than one which you've become familiar.

I....really hope Chris Hansen isn't involved in this story lol .
Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?
Pretty bad because I remember that back then I used to have more hair on top of my head than on my back.
It's not the back that sucks, it's in your ears. When the wind blows it's like someone's got a feather IN YOUR EAR CANAL. RARRGH!!! Stop it time, I hate you enough already!

So, age doesn't bother me that much really, but maturity does. I like calm and intelligent people, people who I can debate politics with one minute and enjoy a fart joke the next without anyone throwing their toys out the pram.
When I was a guild leader, I did have an 18+ age limit, but it wasn't a strict rule. It weeded out a lot of the younger immature people but I was also conscious about potentially corrupting young people (sounds weird, beyond swearing etc we'd talk about drugs and alcohol, alternative lifestyles etc and I didn't want my guild to be responsible for encouraging a 13 year old to start smoking weed).
That said, our youngest guild member was 11 years old and he was more mature and a better player than a lot of people in their 20s and 30s. Only thing was we'd have to be careful of his bedtime on raiding nights as his Dad was also in our guild!
When I was playing Ultima Online and Everquest I looked a bit better from a point of looks, but I'm a lot healthier now and feel better. For a while after my 20s I didn't take care of my health at all. I just played UO/EQ and ate a lot of fast food. With age comes wisdom for many people or they just give up fighting because they are worn out and just go with the flow of what is a healthier lifestyle. One of the major reasons I left MMOs is because I don't relate to the crowd anymore. There is a much more diverse group and IMO they are a lot different in a way that I can't relate to them or don't want to. I liked it when it was just a small niche community that were fairly like minded.
