Seems like just a bunch of resources you can pick up anywhere and some silly costumes, if people want to pay for that then let them. It's kind of sad, the amount of "I paid for an alpha" remorse that surfaces when beta/launch time comes around.
I think it's the players acting shady when they start crying refund after playing through the WHOLE alpha, which is what they paid for in the first place.
They specifically said when they opened the marketplace it was to test the interface and to get feedback on the prices. They also stated that with the exception of the outfits, everything in the marketplace will be obtainable in game for free.
There is no reason to be mad. We knew that the game was F2P going in so there's no reason to be upset that there is a cash shop. Also there's no valid reason to be upset that they put it in during alpha/beta when you've already purchased a $60/100 pack as all that ever entitled you to was alpha access and the goodies that came along with it. There is nothing in the marketplace that is required to advance.
