why it sucks (for a free game)

Why does this game suck? Its so awful and bad, that when you advance, you dont begin to look any cooler. You still look like everyone else. And its just all together bad.
You coudl be spending hours on MapleStory doing other things, like playing better games (if you really dont want to pay for a game, even Guild Wars beats the hell outta this).
I would also suggest single-player games (Devil May Cry is good, so is Metal Gear Solid)

it may not cost money but it costs time, and it doesnt make up for it ::::21::

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

    Yeah i agree, I tried for like 5min and i get sick of it... It's soooo gay.... Should try some other game that is more worthy of your time like MU online or Anarchy online. No offense to any maplers though.::::34::

    all mmo:s you play you wanna just look cool in em? image if you get new weapon to solid snake, he wont look cooler. image and i think smart ppl play games cause they enjoy it. (if smart ppl play games. image)

    The biggest flaw in Maplestory is the lack of communication between players and players to game admins. The community comprises of many immature gamers [old and young] with many scammers and hackers zipping in and out.

    The game’s forums are of no help, since admins do not respond.

     

    i find it a waste of time and the game play is VERY repetitive.

    Although you are elgible to express your opinion, I still consider this an utterly annoying comment. First of all, your "taste" may be different from others, actually i'm SURE it's different from others. Second, bashing a game on its specific forum, is the most idiotic thing to do, it's impolite and rude. Third, so what if it sucks, some enjoy this game, some do not...you obviously do not...but that's your opinion, and though I may not be part of the MS community anymore, I still think this game is good, so if you don't like it keep it to yourself, or at least don't destroy the game and/or its reputation.
    I could, but I won't go on and on stating as to why you shouldn't be doing such hideous things.

    I agree with you whole heartidly. And I'm just wondering, did any of you who say "this game sucks" get past beginner? Because if you didn't then I understand why. Being a beginner sucks especially when you do not know where to go or what to do. But once you become your first class and learn your way around, it starts to become quite fun. Now me and all my friends play it. And about the whole immature thing, just because SOME of the players are 6 years old or act like it doesn't mean they all are. Just get some of your friends to play *cough if you have any cough*. All of me and my friends are 40+ now training at golums and zombie lupins. It's fun stuff image

    Being a Beginner SUX, like Phantom said. I'm lvl 45 right now and its soo much fun, exep i dont have anyone to train with, so i train alone, which is quite boring.

    That's why you make friends in this game.
    There are PURE beginners, which means they stay a beginner their entire MS career...they get their own exclusive weapons and its pretty awesome.
    It's just that I don't have the time to do those kind of things.

    Maple story is an original idea, and its done pretty well, sure it needs:
    unique items
    boss creatures
    PVP
    but thats really all its missing
    this is a great game, that even WoWers have played to take a break!

    And what do you mean by "even guild wars beats this" you tring to say something against guild wars? pfft its a great game too!

    man you need to learn to give games a chance, i dont see you making anything! they go through loads of work to get the game done, only to have some ungrateful idiot calling it crap!

    err oops...I have a typo...its "eligible" xD
    Anyways, no...this game does NOT need any more than it has...besides what is being planned.
    Sure this game does not have 'unique' items, however, most games do not either...they all get their ideas from other games, or ancient artifacts.
    I mean...it can be unique in its own way...but do you really want a wand that looks like an L?

    Also, as I explained in a previous topic in the "suggestions" forum...PVP is NOT possible, and will NOT be happening, damn me if i'm wrong.
    Boss creatures...it already has that, I won't be listing all the boss creatures...because when you find them, you'll find them.
