Email Concerning Early Release

nate1980nate1980 Member UncommonPosts: 2,074

When I bought the Imperial Edition February 1st, I received an email confirming my purchase and it said that I'd receive an email concerning early release near the release date. Considering it's only a few short hours away, I'm slightly worried that I've been somehow overlooked for early access. Has anyone received an email concerning early release?

Im not sure about the email, but if you log onto your account of the ESO website it tells if your account has early release access or not.

There's an email going out saying you can now create an account for the forums but I never activated it because I don't post in eso official forums anyway....plus I thoughts he email could have been a scam :) why risk just to create an account to forums?

Sound as if all you guys are in need of creating an account and you need to find out where your key code is located from you purchasing. Once you find the key code then add it to your account then you will have your access to the early release.

I hope you double checked to see if your payment went through, and you got your code. When i tried to buy it from ESO, they messed up the payment, and its still pending on their end. You should of got your 5 day code instantly, if you didnt then you better get on ebay and buy one for 5 bucks lol.

Go to your billing history, that tells you what codes you have.

If you purchased from GMG you need to login to your account on GMG then go to your games tab and get the code for your purchase.

They are NOT mailing them out. The code they sent before was ONLY for the beta / headstart.

You still need to enter the game code.

HOWEVER, when you try and redeem the game code on ESO website it tells you that you can not redeem until the game goes live.

That is not a 5 day game code then, you could redeem those for awhile. I did my on the 27, that code your talking about is for the game it self.

Think I may be screwed here just says the beta access, and the digital version of the game, we'll see when servers go up.

If you bought digital from Zenimax official site then there is no email code coming it will have automaticly added it to your account as you have to have a account to purchase from there official site.

On a further note I just logged into account section and on account summary far right it shows what games I own which is elderscrolls online normal edition and underneath it says Beta Access and Early Access.

It should be 5 days early access no matter what if you've ordered the Imperial edition (digital or physical).  At least that's been my understanding.  Also, I've heard people say that it would definitely be 5 days if you purchased directly from Bethesda.  I've done both, so I'd be surprised if I don't have 5 days early access.

My account says I have Beta and Early Access, but my billing history doesn't say anything about early access. It just shows the date I bought the game and the order #

If you bought a digital copy directly from them, that's exactly what it should say.

Cool, then I should be enduring launch day frustrations in less than 2 hours.
