Not acceptable to you....you paid for it so obviously it was. Bitching on a forum doesn't do a lot of good once you've given them your money. Doing it for 17 years obviously means your threats don't mean a thing, you're going to keep on buying them.
If it really was unacceptable you would of waited or not bought at all. Being a consumer sheep then demanding they do better next time is laughable.
blah blah blah, still arguing with me on the internet? Lol, who looks like an idiot now?

No, you accepted it by choosing to preorder and give your money up front, instead of playing the free betas or waiting for reviews or waiting a few months. That was your choice.
You have financially supported what you are here complaining about.
Does the OP have an example of this ever done 'right'?
Certainly not in a Bethesda game, they've always been tremendously buggy, and most often needed modder diligence to fix both software error and design foolishness.
I guess dogs just wanna bark.....
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

You don't really want an honest answer to the question now do you?
You see, the mistake you are making is assuming that your experience is the same as everyone elses, and if honestly you think that this launch is worse than MMO's over the past 17 years you've got a short memory, without a firm grasp of reality.
Am I saying the game is bug free? Nope, but in terms of server stability, login times, the game has been outstanding, progress over where launches were not too long ago. Seems I remember multi-hour login queues in Rift not so long ago....Bugs? Sure, I've got a toon at level 16 now, and there was exactly one quest I could not finish due to bugs.
Is my experience indicative of every other player? Probably not, but when you come in with an attitude that you are still a tester, well, I'll just say thank you for your donation to helping Zenimax keep their game going, and developing it. I know we all here appreciate your $60 donation to our enjoyment!
Of course you could play it, but hey, coming to the forums to complain is so much more fun! Either or, thanks for you money.
Its pretty simple really... stop buying these games right when they come out. The only way we can talk to these companies is by not giving them more money, to make the next rushed game. Which apparently the majority isn't willing to do so we'll keep getting crappy games like we have for the last 7 years. Because they make enough cash from people blind-buying right off the bat to warrant this kind of behavior.
I want to live in a world where a crap game is released with a popular IP backing it up and it flops because people weren't willing to buy an unfinished game. Maybe on the next game they'll realize its because they released an unfinished product and the next will be done properly and to completion. But alas, i know im asking for too much.
Maybe i should become an MMO developer because the MMO market right now is like going to buy a car. Except you only get to see pictures of it. While listening to the guy who made it tell you about all these wonderful promises, just to get you to buy it. And somehow that hooks people. What an amazing deal for the seller.

We're not arguing. I was explaining why you were wrong.
I'm glad there are so many people enjoying the game.
But if OP does not feel the product performs as it should he is absolutely entitled to seek a refund. Just because you hold a different opinion is no excuse to troll him/her.

Just follow some simple rules:
- never, ever pre-order any game, unless you have played in the beta enough to know what you are doing
- don't buy any game until it has officially released
- read the reviews, play the free trial, or get in to the beta, before you buy
- never, ever ask for a refund
