Nah, just more to esc through... It's got a nice balance of voice work AND text. I want to see it play out for a few months before suggesting broad changes.

i like the way you think game needs work in the immersion department...its like they didnt think about that

Do you really need a voice actor to tell you to kill 10 chunas?
Well they did in SWTOR. Also, apparently ESO needs Kate Beckinsale and John Cleese for theirs. Maybe Wildstar could get Bill Murray and Dave Chappelle.
Dude, it's Sci-fi. They don't need a cutscene for every conversation. Just make it like StarCraft and have a panel in the bottom right that shows the quest giver saying his bit of dialogue that you can see/listen to while you're running by and doing other stuff.
They don't even have to break immersion for that to happen. Just give everyone a holo droid thingamajig. I've been hoping for a game to do this for ages. Neverwinter and Defiance both almost looked liked they were going that route then fumbled it. /sigh This shit should have been worked out back in 2004 tbh...
I don't think this is the type of game looking to spend 3/4 of it's budget on content people see for a few minutes and never again (what up, SWTOR?).
Wildstar is a throwback game. It's not trying to be overly impressive in it's content for solo players. It's there, because 2014, but it's not what the game is based around.
The game is focused on multi player content, player progression, and guild achievement. It's a true MMORPG. Fairly rare to find these days.
I don't care about voice overs, about cinematics or about cut scenes. I really done give a damn.
What i need from a mmo and currently i m finding in a big degree to Wildstar is:
Great Combat Style and Animations.
Seamless world without Loading Screens and Phasing.
Very Good Talent & Skill System.
Superb UI. This weekend UI 2.0 is coming which is even better.
Great Addons System.
Deep Crafting System.
High Quality Group PvE Content. Dungeons(quality & hard enough to keep your immersion) , 20/40 man Raids (i also like that Raids are very tough and don't have HC modes etc. Prefer new content than new layers of difficulty in the same content like WoW did after TBC), Open World Group Quests, World Bosses, Adventures, Shiphands etc
Good PvP content. Open World PvP (generic yes, its enough for me though), Arenas, Battlegrounds, Warplots (40vs40)
Well made Dye System.
Excellent Housing System.
Something more i found in Wildstar which i didn't imagined it will be great in a mmo is humor. It adds to fun factor a lot.
That's what i m looking mostly in a mmo and that's why i like Wildstar.
But again, different ppl, different tastes, different choices and games for everyone. Have fun whatever you play, that's what matters in the end

Single player RPGs do single player better than any MMORPG ever will. You might check out some of them if what you want is high quality soloing. All you get out of MMORPGs is ultra crappy and ultra easy soloing that's just there as a side activity before "the real game" of grouping kicks in, and full voice is hardly that important to that part of the game.
Premium MMORPGs do not feature built-in cheating via cash for gold pay 2 win. PLAY to win or don't play.

Nope, but I want one. You prove my point with your reply though.. it feels like ticking off objectives rather than being part of a story.

I want to make moonshine with Kit Brinny in my player housing.
Invite Exiles to a barn dance where all get shit faced and have a pork barrel barbecue.

Moonshine Plug (Large) is a thing. As is the Fesitval Plug (Small) which sets up a BBQ/party on a your housing plot. Carbine have you covered!

I read the big VO story is when you get to the elder game.
