Problem with Resolution and Full Screen

Hey guys, for some reason the full screen in this game isn't working as a true fullscreen to me. The taskbar on Windows 7 is still present (I have to set it to auto-hide but i still see the thin blue line where it is) and I can't seem to change the resolution beyond 1280x800. Maybe I am changing it but the options always say that when I check. Anyone know of any fixes? I can't make a forum account because I don't have an invitation code...I don't understand that. Thanks for any help.

 

Also, I'm running the game on high at 60fps, so I don't think it's my card (also run other games at high as well).

    Having the same problem. seems like the resolution doesn't save. When I change it changes but when I check back it hasn't. weird...

    Same issue here. I wanted to run my game at 2560X1440. But my desktop is set at 1080P. A temp work around for me was to set my desktop to 2560X1440 . The options showed in game for all the avail resolutions, But none of them would stick.

    Yep same problem here.  Running an I7 at 4K and a GTX 680 with 12GB ram at 1600 so it isn't the machine.  Same problems as shared.  The resolutions won't stick and I can't make a "truly" full window and it sucks pulling up the task bar or god forbid hitting the windows button.  I'm going to move my tool bar to the top of the screen since I do more at the bottom.  Hopefully someone comes up with a fix soon.  Otherwise, having played the beta, this has been a very smooth roll out if this is all we are complaining about 8-)

    Cant help with the resolution issue, but as for the windows frame problem try hitting Alt+ Enter. That changes mine to full screen.

    I don't have this issue either. I wonder if there is a similar configuration for those who are having this issue. Make sure you guys are using the latest video drivers.

    I never ran into this issue - both are using nvidia GTX cards (660 and 760)

    My setting show "fullscreen" and then Resolution shows 1920x1080 on one and 1920x1200 on the other. 

    Fullscreen works on both just fine - win 7 on both PCs.

     Yup I had no issue with the native resolution of 1920X1080. The thing is the other resolutions I have setup  2560x1440 for example. Shows in the drop down window, But when I confirm that change it won't actually change. It just remains at 1920X1080. Now keeping in mind I do run other full screen games at 2560X1440. It seems like my fullscreen mode is a windowed  "Fullscreen" .

    My cards are 2 660 GTX TI.

    I've been able to get that resolution to work by setting my desktop to the desired 2560X1440. Possibly something to do with the fact those are custom resolutions I've setup perhaps. Or perhaps I wasn't properly applying the setting in game or something

    What monitors are you guys using?  I'm seeing some high resolutions being listed here.

    Their full screen IS a bit funky.

     

    When I alt-tab out to the desktop, my desktop background becomes the fully animated game...kind of handy actually :) The only other game I play that does this is Civ V.
