DONT buy this game right now. wait a month or two. they have launched their game with bugs that have been reported for months. it is essentially still in beta. there is little to no customer service, no updates on tickets. characters suddenly dismounting from their horses, people completely unable to log in, people falling through maps, numerous bugged quests, large amounts of diconnects/lag, launcher issues, people's bank contents completely disappearing, missing preorder items, ect. theres also very little endgame content, and a generally generic, sub elder scrolls experience. a few people even reported suddenly being in control of someone elses character and invetory upon login. some people who report gold spammers are being banned for 72 hours. gold spammers are everywhere, they control the chat. compare the state of this game to the wildstar beta... i would say wildstar should be launching and this game should have 4 more months of beta.

I couldn't disagree more.
The game is well polished, does it have bugs? Yes but you act like everyone is having these bugs and can't play. Every MMO released has bug.
The game is very fun to play, it has lore, pve, pvp, and many other aspects other mmo's don't put much effort into, where ESO did a great job with.

obvious troll, I nor any of my guildies have experienced any of that
not saying it doesnt happen, but with as many people that are playing, its a very small %
as to generic, thats a matter of opinion, and endgame always has been pvp, and been known that adventure zones were post launch features.
Wildstar...lol, I havent even got my password reset that I have been attempting to do for the last 5 months

I love it, that more and more troll accounts get started here in these days spilling some lies and misinformations here and there. Shows that the game is running fine and the usual trolls are running out of ideas.

If he played the game or not is irrelevant, people can read the forums themselves and get a general idea . Also we are in 2014 not 2004 so the argument "all mmorpgs are full of bugs at launch and downtime is good" was proven wrong long time ago, only zenimax fans are still using it.

It's ok Wildstar devs, you'll have plenty of players, don't need to be trolling the ESO forum this early.
Also I agree with others, I've seen 1 bug myself, the assassin quest which was fixed a day later. But I haven't fell through the world, haven't experienced any other game breaking bugs or saw anything that hindered my fun ingame. Does the game have bugs that need fixing? Yes. But are some people exaggerating it on the forums? Heck yes. I suppose mmorpg.com has to live up to its reputation somehow.

OP and Eldaris, yes these bugs do exist (many but not all) and most definitely not in the exageratted manner in which OP introduces it.. regardless, even with these bugs, this as been one of the smoothest launches i`ve been part of. i`m at level 17 and only had two quests that bugged on me..
i`m not gonna say buy it or don`t buy it.. but i will call out the OP on trolling.. yes my character SOMETIMES dismounts on its own, yes I`ve heard of people falling through floors etc (hasn`t happened to me), i have been disconnected as well (three times), but to fly off the handle at these issues would be ridiculous...

i played the game for 2 days. then my account suddenly says "login info invalid" when it works on their website. thousands of people having the same issue .

every single one of these bugs are reported by multiple people on their customer service forums with 0 response.
smoothest launch? can you play right now? could u play 2 hours ago? 4? didnt think so.
I can agree with the horse, but thats not a very bad bug. I never had my bank deleted. The worst bug, and problem is the gold selling/ people losing accounts to them.
My account was used for that when i took a brake on the 3rd day, or they just randomly banned me. Not to mention if they had proff which they wouldent tell me they did. They only banned me for 72 hours. Why would you ban a gold seller for 72 hours lol.
There customer services, op is dead on there. I have there number, from a pay pal purchase, and i called them 3 times. I also used their call me back thing, and i emailed them. The first 3 calls were to people that sounded younger then 14. Those 3 people could not do anything, but tell me sorry we cant do nothing in this department we have to send it to another department. This other department cannot be reached, and you will just have to wait, they couldent connect me to a manager. They couldent do anything.
The person that called me back was the same thing. The email they never responded to.
Now to me the game it self was great, I had no game braking bugs. I had lots of fun, I just love the way the crafting works, with the research. The deconstruction, and how you can pick styles. I was looking forward to finding the rare crafting places. I also loved the quests, i was looking forward to finding the arch mage books from the mad god.
But that customer service, made me so mad, for not helping me. With banning my account for something i didnt do. And they have no proof, and sent me no email as to way I was banned. It just wouldent let me log on. Yeah I am not paying for that lol. And I thought game stop customer service was bad lol.
I don't like TESO and i find Wildstar a better game in general (at least for my taste). I also agree that despite it has 2 months to release, Wildstar is in a very good state and quite polished already.
But tbh i think you are a bit over reacting with your post, even if everything you are saying is true

Thats right dismiss OP as a troll just because 4 people in this thread have not encountered the bugs described.
OP is correct, all of these bugs are causing problems for many players. There is also linked evidence with a formal acknowledgement from ESO supoprt staff about a loophole that allows you to log in to other peoples toons and have full access to delete all of their items and mess with theit toon however you see fit.
But yeah, lets just pretend none of that is happening shall we....superb launch!! Way to go Zeni!!! W00t!!!

A bit difficult to entrust your cc info to a company that allows random people to log into your game account and your characters.
Hopefully less bugs and another proof that even with all population problems , a multi server design is preferable to megaserver. Maybe after all the security problems from mmorpg launches, even an authenticator available at launch.
you know you can be suited for that? That´s damage of credit and there are some leading cases going up to the supreme court also in Europe going the European court of justice. Concerning this is a forum where many people are reading you do have a big audience listening. So companies will claim damages and they did that. Trolling is something you can do, but find a line!

every single bit of that information is true. if they are damaged, its their own fault. lets talk about suites... how about the thousands of people whos credit cards have been charged, and still completely unable to access the product...about 4 days after it was promised.

If the launch sucked then you would hear the masses cry out for refunds but honestly this is easily the most stable and enjoyable MMORPG launch to date for me. I am having a great time and haven't had so much fun PvP'n since my days in DAoC.
