what game(s) are you playing as you "wait" ?

I've gone back to FPS games as I wait for Vanguard SOH. I dont want to get totally involved and invested in any game until Vanguard comes out.. my last MMORPG was EQ2 and even tho its back on track, the community is to small for my taste. I posted this because I was interested in seeing what you guys are playing while you wait for the antcipated Vanguard : Saga of Heroes and maybe persuade me to come back to the MMORPG world alot sooner.

I play Counter strike source, Call of duty 2, Eve-Online, and Age of Empires 3, and coach my gf through WoW as training for vanguard =p

Played 6 years eq1 and 1 1.2 years eq2, The rathe server, oasis server.

Dark Age of Camelot, Epic edition. It is just one amazingly well made game. It is absolutely spellbinding.

CoV. (currently subscribing) If it was perfect I would not have the time to check this forum, but so far, less bad MMOs out there!

I will try DDO. I am unsure of what will be my reaction, I may as well call it home or revolt completely...I am looking forward to try it.

May or may not try Vanguard and AA, I am interested and listening to everything they say. I will have a hard time to convince my casuals friends to try Vanguard assuming I find it lovely after trying it, many swear to never touch Verant products, I convince them that SoE was not Verant and they try it back...but Sigil...*clear throat*, hehe...we will see in time.

I am pretty sure a big part of Sigil is currently playing SoR...but well, who knows, maybe I am wrong.

I have about made up my mind to go back to EQ while I wait on VSOH. I ordered the Titanium Edition and I am going to re-open my account with a mid-level cleric. To make it interesting, I have set some goals for myself in the meantime:

1) Reach level 60 (from 33)

2) Get my epic (maybe even that epic 1.5 and 2.0 garbage)

3) Find a nice, serious guild

4) Spend some time in LGuk, Sebilis, Mistmoore (even though I think its re-vamped) and other zones that I enjoyed when I used to play

I don't think I will be completely bored with EQ, especially since I can look forward to Vanguard. One thing I am afraid of, though, is that 10 more expansions come out before Vanguard is released. That would be awful.

Since I just recently quit WoW because of its lack of end game content I am not playnig any game at the moment. Hopefully, once I purchase my new computer ill engage in some kind of gaming that is fun and intriguing. By that time I can only pray Vanguard is out, and is a successful hiit in the MMO genre. Until that time, I will continue reading forums daily and drooling with the anticipation of getting the game in my hands.

I went back to Daoc but been playing COV and went back to EQ1 for a bit probally would have stayed with EQ1 but didnt want to spend the time to fix my mouse to play in full screen so instead of playing in window I QUIT!............ I hope Vanguard Is everything EQ1 was once and That EQ2 should have been.
