I use to play Lineage 2 and still log on every now and then. Now I am playing ArcheAge Russia while waiting for Trion to release the US Version. Nonthing out there to play but linear themeparks. If you want something similar to Lineage 2 then try ArcheAge.

EVE-Online, Perpetuum Online, Gloria Victis (need to put in 10 USD but worth it), Albion Online (nearing beta and doing long duration alphas with quite allot of players currently), EverEmber Online, 8-bit MMO, do I really need to continue past this point or do I really need to sink your idea of themeparks being the only thing?
Give us more info mate. Which expansion did you love the most. I played and loved Lineage 2 until they released Goddess of Destruction and its not like I didn't give it a chance. Played for at least 6 months and made 3 toons to lvl 90. Tbh they lost sight with everything well after the Interlude, which is by far my favorite expansion. Gracia part 2 was a breath of fresh air but it nosedived afterwards So yeah I guess that scarred me for life, no game deserves all of my time (used to play hardcore day and night) to farm just to have the developer ruin the game. So I became a "filthy" casual and am having tons of fun with guild wars 2 ever since release.
There is nothing out there that comes close to L2. The L2 style is too hardcore and grindy for the current mmo market which makes me extremely sad because L2 is my favorite mmo.
