Its a 'something to do' MMO......

I would argue that this is just completely false.   I've played all of the Elder Scrolls games, and so far my impression is that ESO has some serious depth -- more depth in class combinations, crafting and exploration than we've seen in an MMO release in a long time.

On the other hand, my first impressions on the game were terrible.  After about 5 hours I was really feeling that I wanted my money back, but after I started exploring outside of the city, I realized just how freaking huge it was and how many rewards there were just for heading out on your own and exploring.

So... in my opinion, OP, don't listen to xxtriadxx's comment -- it's false.  Give it a try, I'd say it's shaping up to be one of the more interesting MMO releases of the last 6-7 years.

I did not say it is a bad game. The depth is no more notable then most other MMO's though and it fills that well what else is there to do zone..that does not make it a bad game or any such thing.

I do play it and enjoy it but I see no need to sell or oversell it.

Got the time money and nothing else to do try it ..if it a game a year can't afford anything situation I'd say wait.

-Oh and I agree with you on how the game starts ..do not judge this game based on the first well 5-20 hours...its one of the duller experiences..later it opens up gets more "worldly" if you will.

The player models are clunky. They crouch like Secret World and make a stupid zombie jump. The world looks OK, but its not as pretty as you would expect for a AAA title.

It is a ported console game. Looks like it, plays like it.

The lack of name plates, or chat bubbles is nonsense. Just nonsense.

The action combat system is poorly done. Tera, and Neverwinter were both WAY better at that, and Tera looked amazing. This game looks like it belongs on Xbox360, and does not play as smooth.

Voice acting... they have some good voice talent, so that's a plus I guess. Its a clunk fest that makes you want to hook up your xbox controller, but you do get John Cleese...

Waste of money, I wont be subscribed for sure, and have asked for my 60$ back.

It's not for me, and may be one of the worst gaming purchases I have made in the last 5 years.

    My advice. Don't. Just don't.

Those 2 plus the very bad Skill Animations and the lack of Group PvE content like Raids etc, keep me away from TESO.

Another thing i don't like is that almost everyone looks the same. Different classes, npc's etc they all look almost the same.

I found that a challenge as well. With everyone running around in starter armor, and no name plates is was hard to even make out NPC vs player. Then when you hit the player interaction wheel. It really put me off.

If I had never owned a gaming PC, and never played a MMO, this game would be amazing. But since I am not a consolebro, it seems dumbed down and less than I expected.

They say you should always try to say something nice, so I think the animation while crafting is cool. Cut to me stirring with a spoon while cooking. That is better than most status bar build times that you see in other games.
