Convert to Imperial Style...

TolmosTolmos Member UncommonPosts: 141

When you right click an armor/weapon, it is supposed to bring up that option to "Convert to Imperial Style" if you own the imperial edition of the game.

Anyone else finding this to be EXTREMELY limited? I have probably 2 dozen weapons/armor total in my bag, and yet only 3 items TOTAL have this option. 0_o Which is strange, because the Imperial Edition notes state "Transform ANY gear you own into Imperial styled gear."

Anyone else having this problem, and know if this is a bug that will be fixed later on, or working as intended?

If you don't see the option to convert it to Imperial style, it likely means it already is.

Yep, you can't convert it TO Imperial style if it already IS imperial style.  A tooltip saying what style a piece or armour is would be quite a help though.

You're unable to convert unique items I believe. Like, quest rewards and such. Those can't be converted. But not sure beyond that. I don't really use the function myself :-)

personally i think there are racist undertones there that they singled out the imperials to be special.. to hell with those milk slurpers. what about the orcs, redguards, or nords who are all far better warriors.. wheres the special for them. the imperial thing is overrated. highly.

Agree it's overrated! :P Either way, people who can't convert, can just get the Imperial motif, so they can craft imperial armor

Quest rewards are also exempt. Has to be drops or crafted.
