Well, I made a MMORPG account after seeing that we would be using these forums, but that means that my pledge is not linked to my account! Who should I email to sort this out?

I think I might be in those boat as well. I donated and don't see those forums.
Hey, I threw some beta money at you too! I came all the way from the unforums & wanna thank mmorpg.com for hosting these TBW forums! I love ARGs but am not a TSW player, I just hope some of us enthusiastic normal (non-grandmaster) people get some awesome perks as well. But it is early on & I am a patient one. I like what I've seen so far!

Thak you yankeewhite and docwho2100 for supporting the project! It is much appreciated!
Did you play the pre-launch arg or are you new to the forum?
Oh yeah I played the pre-launch! Most of it was lurking or playing catchup after-the-fact (rl gets in the way alot ) but I still had fun. I'm new to the mmorpg forums if that's what you mean. But am well versed in the way of the ARG and on unfiction ALOT.
Which of the pledges is the Lifetime pledge equivalent to? Yeah, it gives you that special '33, but which one does it share the same sort of benefits of aside from that? Does it have the benefits of the Limited, Normal, Advanced, Dedicated, etc, or will we have to pay separately?
And what is the student pledge equivalent to? Limited? Normal? Does the Student subscription price end when you graduate and lose your .edu email address?

I am curious about this as well. I am a lifer, but also bought the beta pack before learning that was redundant. I'd be happy just to apply that toward a "lifer upgrade" though.

Hi there!
Lifetime Subscription = Standard Subscription + Division 33 exclusive + Wall of paper mission & Rewards for free. (Value 30$)
.Edu subscription = Standard Subscription for 5$. (Value 30$) It's valid as long as you register with .edu. If you change it later because your graduate, you won't loose your rebate until you have to renew next year. (Hey, you graduate! We should celebrate! How about a mission "à la innsmouth academy"?)
Lifetime / .Edu subscription vs Beta Subscription: loose beta access, loose agent name reservation, loose division 66 access, loose game credit.
In short / 'what is the hottest'
1. Beta (Exclusive and limited, won't be around anymore)
2. Lifetime (Limited to TSW GM, better then the edu, less good then the beta)
3. Edu / standard (same level, available to all, just a different price)
Can you combined beta and lifetime to create an uber pledge: yes. If you had the chance to put your hand on the beta pledge, when the lifetime come you can redeem it and this will add perks to your global pledge benefits.
Sneak peak on all pledge subscription: Here (This is an email sent to folks who opt-in in the marketing shock troops. It is not proofread and information is subject to change based on players feedback) -- You can give your feedback on this survey. I hope I mange to made it clear.

OH it only went to the shock troops! We were trying to figure out on the IRC last night why some people didn't get it!

You did, thank you! Yes, I did receive the email, but I wasn't sure if those two were effectively the standard or not, and I've never been good at making decisions without information. You've definitely cleared that up! Again, thank you very much for answering!

Interesting. I have both a beta package pledge and I'm a TSW Grand Master, how do I go about creating this über pledge?
Also, do I need to do anything specific to link my TSW account & mmorpg account to receive the codes for the in-game items and such?
Dam i miss the beta pledge, was to busy with University that i miss the chance. I hope it can return again if Anashel wills it for just one day only please!!! . Anyway ive know how the pledge works now and i hope i could be gold member, but not enough money: i think ill get the lifetime advance and with Anashel will try to get the beta again, if not then ill stuck with those two x).
A lot of information and answers is scattered throughout the different threads. I've read it all, but would it be possible to compile the answers into a FAQ to help out newcomers? It'll make it easier to spread the word when they both have the pledge website and a specific place to look up further information.

It's a link repository more than anything, and targeted to TSW players for now, but it contains some resources relevant with the preARG and the pledge campaign.
Also, it can't really replace the game presentation from the main site, but what would you like to see in addition?
Were you just asking for a similar one in this forums? Or would you want even more intel than what's in it, or on the main site?

You are right. We should redo the home page and be more bullet point.
The game: web base mixing real life event.
What's in it for me: In-Game uniforms or item for TSW + 1y subscription for the new game Black Watchmen
What is an ARG: Game that use real life components and blur the line between reality and fiction. For example, during a mission, you may have to end up calling a company and getting your clue hidden inside a fake employees voicemail.
Single player mechanics: You can play alone and be challenge to solve various type of puzzle (historical, logical, mathematical, skill based,e tc)
Groups mechanics: Blend slightly the game reality with the companion app. Get stalked by a virtual sniper, try to get your way trough your neighborhood safely will other player in-game try to flush the sniper.
Raid Mechanics: Major event of 500 players and more including physical and virtual coordination, spanning accros a week long mission. Unveil conspiration, track down company and ennemy NPC, make life canging decision for the community and see the plot changed based on your input and action.

For now, a small FAQ exists on the TSW forums: [FAQ] Division 66It's a link repository more than anything, and targeted to TSW players for now, but it contains some resources relevant with the preARG and the pledge campaign. Also, it can't really replace the game presentation from the main site, but what would you like to see in addition? Were you just asking for a similar one in this forums? Ah, you're right, there is a lot of information and I'm sorry for not being clear as to which I was referring to. Anashel's bullet points would be nice to have on the website in addition to the text we already have. If someone doesn't know about ARGs and/or just doesn't have the patience to read through everything, this gives them a quick way to decide if this is something for them - and if they want to read on.
Originally I was thinking of compiling the information we have on the forum into a forum FAQ, but it would also be nice to have some of it on the website. For example it's been asked more than once if we can combine Grandmaster/member pledges along with the beta pledges or even other pledges. If you comb through the threads you will know the answer, but having it more visible would be nice. The comparison list of subscriptions and what they offer as opposed to the Grandmaster/membership perks is also a really great asset. These two may be the deciding factor for whether someone gets a beta refund or whether someone even chooses to pledge at all because they already get Grandmaster/membership benefits.
How about we give ourselves a real AMA via uStream. You assk question until I drop. (Like that scene in West Wing about Nuclear Reactor, anyone recall?)
I hook myself up, you call my via skype (some of you already have my number. Being call at 3 AM... hum....) and we after the ARG, me and VGG we will boil down the core and remakre the FAQ, then take the most engaging and exciting aspect and pimp up the home page?
Sound like a plan? You can ask about the story, about the game experience, the engine, how it going to be run, in how many language: ASK ME ANYTHING ... except gold member.

Click the official site and there is literally no information. How can we become interested in something we know nothing about?
It is also not a very encouraging way to market your product.
I don't even know how i could ask a question because i don't know anything about the game
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
