    Is the VIP forum just the basic 'General Discussion' section with the five threads in it, and no subforum? :)

    I still only see the general forum: Moiren.

     

    I can see there have been posts in the VIP forum, but when I click on it, I only get the general forum.

     

    Also, I pledged before Paypal was an Option, I did not need to create an MMORPG account to do so, and I am a Lifetime TSW member.

     

    ETA: To cover hopefully everything.

    I have access (and had since at least yesterday, haven't tried before).

    But since so many people don't, that seems to explain why it is so quiet in there :D

    I click the link provided to the VIP forum and see a forum with one folder called General Discussion. I open it and see 6 threads, one labeled PLedge VIP forms - I open that and it says to click a link ;)   Anashel has set up a recursive loop - darn ruptures :)

    Wow, that's a lot of people!

     

    I am please to say we found the issue and will apply a batch patch soon. I will post here when it's done!

    Well I can't answer for MMORPG but I can answer on how I pitch them the project. As a indie studio, my choice was to go to kickstarter and try to start my project alongside artist who want to do a fundraising for their album and nutritionist  who want to be the next Soylent Green. ;)

     

    Since MMORPG is about nurturing gaming community and giving the voice to the player, I said it was logical for us to launch our fundraising here and used the forums as our community platform to get the feedbacks. For now we are the first one to experiment the concept but if it work, it could give a lot of indie studio a great place to interact with a mature and senior gaming community rather then starting one on their side. As long as it's clearly identify and it don't create noise on the overall MMORPG foundation, I think the MMORPG log-in should even become and SSO as facebook or twitter so you can log-in right with your credential without the hassle of creating a new account.

     

    As long as it benefit the players, I think it's a good idea.

     

    EDIT: Also to clarify, they gave us a dedicated forums for the people who pledge and have question related to that, they didn't gave us full control over game the forums.

    I've got an interesting situation.  I made my $20 donation while I wasn't actually logged in to MMORPG.com.  So, I've gotten the e-mail thanking me for my pledge, but while I'm logged in, it says my pledge level is $0.  Can I get my pledge linked?  I really want to get into the VIP stuff, and get the TSW in-game clothing items.

    Don't worry, you wont lose any privilege. We are looking at any case that have pledge and don't show correctly in MMORPG.

    Did you pledge via Paypal or Crowdtilt? Will fix you up asap.

    Does it matter if we've changed our username/nickname since we donated? I used to be AshburnerX, then switched it to Boam (my TSW character).

    It had to be Crowdtilt.  My bank statement shows the $20 charge from BAL*CHTHEBLACKW (The bank-speak listed on my statement, minus the chain of numbers after).
