I know there is other threads on this but have peoples minds changed after the release of ESO? I personally tried both and WIldstar blew ESO out of the water with things like housing, adventures, warplots and the combat system. ESO felt so clunky and like a bad gw2. I hear the crafting is good in ESO tho but not keen of throwing $50 out the window for a crafting system. I know both games are different but are the 2 major MMO's dropping this year and ofcourse their not the only MMO's getting released but IMO are the only 2 worth noting (at this current time)
The main point i am getting at has people opinions changed about ESO and will they be playing wildstar instead
Comments
To each their own. Some people like ESO, and dislike Wildstar (I'm one of them). Others dislike ESO and like Wildstar.
2 very different games for two different crowds
Why is there even a comparison?
TSW - AoC - Aion - WOW - EVE - Fallen Earth - Co - Rift - || XNA C# Java Development
Yes opinions have changed.
Hopefully fans of the genre should have a banner year with multiple AAA choices so that they can find one that is what they are looking for.
Both high budget themepark games, for what it's worth. Each game impresses yet disappoints.
I'll play whichever game goes F2P first, hows that?

I take a look mostly at the development team for games.
A game can start out great, but due to a crappy development team come to a grinding halt. I do not like ESO's development team, after playing almost a year in the beta, I can say that they do not listen to their players very well and would have had a much better launch if they had listened to testers, both Psijic and weekend testers. I'm just not a very big fan of ESO, if the game wasn't Elder Scrolls lore/based it would have been a huge flop, in my opinion.
Wildstar originally drove me off because of their weird cartoony-humor style, but I really came to enjoy it the past few beta weekends and what I can see in end-game content according to internal testers looks really nice. Plus, the devs are always active and are always listening and taking feedback from players. They WANT the game is be challenging, they WANT you to die, but at the same time want you to have a blast doing it. In earlier betas ESO was difficult, but they changed it drastically. I believe that limiting your actionbar slots is the way to go, but I think wildstar nailed it better than ESO. In ESO I spam the ability multiple times to do damage and use an ultimate. Where as in wildstar, I use multiple abilities with higher-paced combat and a BETTER targeting system than ESO.
Honestly, I might have stayed with ESO if development wasn't so slow and there were actually fun things to do end-game. I understand they want the whole game not to feel like a rush to 50 (V10), but really, people at max level don't want to do the same crap while they were doing while leveling. They want something new and exciting. On top of that, their development team is so secretive about what they were working on even with their early batch of Psijic testers and probably will be for the future of the game. This will lead to bad decisions if you don't listen and/or ask what the player base wants. This isn't a single-player game and they'll realize that as soon as the game has to go F2P.
Depends really.
I enjoy ESO very, very much. Slow paced, story driven MMO with great looking graphics on ES style.
Wildstar on the other hand felt like action game on steroids. Felt more like old platform games translated into 3D.
For an older played ESO seems just what the doctor ordered.
Gosh darn, we need to work on this. We'll lie next time, OK? OK MMORPG'ers, please lie about bugs.
So, you didn't like the answer the first time, so you'd ask again?

Different games for different audiences, plus ESO is already released while WS is about 2 months away. So there is not much to compare anyway.
My pick is WS for many reasons and i also dislike ESO. But i hope both will turnout to be good games (at least) in the long term.
Oh your a clever cookie man!! . Was going to blame auto correct on my phone but ill leave you to shine in your glory..
