I see countless threads that are critical of this game being locked and buried.. Trolling is a highly subjective term. I'm not trying to incite negativity or whatever your definition of trolling is.. I'd like an open and honest discussion about what this game does right and what it does wrong..
So, everyone should feel free to post this games greatest triumph and its blackest defeat.
For me, the triumph is the performance of the engine. It handles massive Zerg v Zerg PvP wonderfully. It's impressive.
The blackest defeat is the compulsory questgrind.

Remember, mods, now you can't lock this thread or ban me because I inb4'd you.
One, they are getting paid to review it...Two closing and deleting threads has nothing to do with the review MMORPG gives them.

Please keep the thread on topic. I was very excited when they announced ESO. When I got my hands on it in beta, I was disappointed. For me the cons outweigh the pros but I still have hope since they have a tremendous IP and a fairly good platform.
Who cares? Post it in the review section if you want.

He has constantly posted negativity of the highest degree about the game every time someone posts something good on the forum, even going as far as making threads like this that he knows will be locked.... How much hate can you have for a game you are even ready to violate the forum rules you post in over it...
NEWS FLASH: Not everyone on the plaent things like you do.... that's a good place to start towards coming back to normal and having an honest discussion. I never once seen MMORPG.com lock anything that was not in violation. In fact this forum lets people post more stuff critical about a game then any game company would let you do on their own forums...
I'm sure when this is locked, the OP will cry about that also as if some social injusictice was done to him when he clearly knows why his post will be locked.
Let us not forget that this is still a private site. This is not an open public forum. You cannot expect the same rights you'd have if you went out on the street corner and got on a soap box. This site has every right to restrict what you post here if they dont' like your opinion. So, If MMORPG.COM wants to portray ESO in a positive light, they can. If MMORPG.COM wants to remove threads that shed a negative light on ESO, they can. And you have little recourse but to go elsewhere. They do own the databases after all.
So you are mad at the OP because he doesnt has the same thought of the game as you and he makes threads telling people what he thinks of the game?
Yeah, except you don't care. You didn't start this thread to have any honest discussion about the merits and flaws of the game. If you did, you wouldn't have titled it the way you did. You simply wanted to vent and get people agitated. Make a new title for your thread and maybe people will take you seriously.
He is just asking why MMORPG is deleting and closing threads. Its not really a debate when its true. Look through the ESO forum and see all the closed threads already. People who are playing the game and are having bad experiences so far, not trolls.
Back at you.. where in the world did you read "HATE"? And he ALWAYS does this?
Kinda hard to talk to anyone when if you dislike something..just plain dont agree it = "HATE" lol
As to why.. take this thread you asked a question and one of the 1st replys you get says you hate. you always.. see it gets hijacked and turns in to something thats better just locked.
When you have the same people posting generally the same thing in every thread or like certain members leaving a gap of a few days and then creating new threads with different titles to whine some more, it's trolling. I could name several folks who have stated the exact same whine 10 times in the last month. It's like get over it already. You've stated your point now move on.

OP, the last thread that was closed has every reason to be.

That OP was calling people who like ESO F**KNUTS and Fools. And it's overall tone was extremely condescending to anyone who would identify with ESO as liking the game.
Maybe if that thread had used a proper acceptable tone and wasn't flaming ESO fans, it could have been a discussion. But there you have it.
This isn't the 1st game to have these things happen. In fact, these very cycles of threads happen with almost every major release.
There might be some sense of loyalty on MMORPG's part to the paying customers (Game Publishers), The OPs of these threads sure do make it easy for site mods here to shut it down.
Acting like Prowess hasn't has his freedom of speech on this forum is further from the truth...
Anyone who is anyone who has been on this forum for the last month KNOWS what prowess views on the game are and he has spoken his mind quite clearly over the whole past month about that view....
Now that most people do not agree with his view point his only option left is to start attacking MMORPG for locking threads that are no more then dupilates or have goteen so far off topic that it had to be locked. Or post that do not follow troll line
So please, give me a break when you say he is silenced somehow... when really all I see is him throwing a fit that EVERYONE in the world doesn't think the way he does!!
