The ONLY reason to buy the game early was to get a name you wanted (since its only one server) getting it now it a waste. It doesnt work right, there are nearly 6000 and counting complaint threads in the official support forum.
Also considering the amount of people who bought physical copies havent got them yet, and other who bought digital copies with invalid codes I wouldnt be looking for any deals anyway. Or people who have everything they need stil not being able to play, or banned, or unauthenticated or whatever other disaster is going on I wouldnt be in a rush to jump into the game if you have already been suckered...errrr bought it.
Because retailers can set their own price? My wife got her Imperial Edition for $64 (20% off) in January on the first day of preorders. That's not because ZOS was selling it for that cheap, it's because a 3rd party retailer wanted the business instead of the competition. And it worked, we bought from them instead (I even ended up buying my copy from them after canceling from gamestop). So successful business practice is successful!
I am debating on getting it, don't think it is my answer for a new mmo home, but I can probably get my money out of it. I knew their was going to be a lot of little bugs still though, as I played the last open beta before launch and it was suprising how many little ui/quest type bugs still existed, that late. Nothing that would keep me from playing though, just been a little busy to make a final decision on it (refreshing my wifes memory on it and seeing if she wants to play it also).

better go read the official forums before you think "nothing to keep me from playing though' NUMEROUS issues with people NOT being able to log in, for any number of reasons. So no, just because you buy the game doesnt mean your guaranteed to be able to play it. Something that does in fact happen and isnt some small portion of people.
Game is decently fun. Different setup than other mmo's less handhold from the UI. Many quest bugs are being knocked out asthey are discovered. Not bugs that completely halt your progress. They are having some troubles with some of their account fixes.
I think your enjoyment of this game depends on your approach to mmo's. If you are a casual player interested in multiple builds, crafting, building a guild...the game seems good. If you are a power leveler, always worried about what others have, annoyed tovthe point of throwing a computer if a quest is bugged....then you might sit this one out.
There is a profit margin when selling things, some companies will cut into their profit to sell more and take away business from competitors. If ZM was selling it for 35 bucks, then I would be wondering whats going on.

I was meaning in closed beta, not release. Yes, me and the wife had a stretch during the last beta of disconnects, but some driver wrangling fixed it (shouldn't have to do this in a game this close to launch imo, but got it working).
If I decide I may want to buy it for both of us, I will definitely check it out, and weigh everything. Another big thing for me is that I have been wanting to try AA for a long time, and I am not going to try it on a foreign server, and it is getting closer to being out, so between AA, Landmark's on-going development, and some other stuff, not sure I will have to the time for it in the near future (even had some friends start TSW back up), so not sure if it would be worth it anyway for me.
