You think this is funny you should of seen all the fanboys when the game first got released after my free trial month I told others how much it suck and yet they called me crazy. After the price dropped to 20 dollars to buy the game that hasnt even been out two months yet they still couldnt put 2 and 2 together. Then a month after that it become free to get the dam game cuz you could install the client with someone else cd. Wow the fanboys still couldnt put 2 and 2 together, they called it a smart marketing strategy, come on, what MMORPG you know that sells a full version for $50 bucks then drops it to zero in 3 months.

The most annoying thing is that you can fly through everything, but you cannot walk through a table/chair and those ##$%#$%# things are always placed at the wrong place.

E&B is made by Westwood... no, EA took it over. I forget. EA took over Origin and Westwood, I liked it when they all had different names, now it's just "EA" for everything.

Earth and Beyond is one of the worst MMO games I have ever played. I bought it and played for 12 days out of the 30 day free trial before cancelling my account. I noticed the EA logo on the box, and knowing the ruination that EA brought to UO I should have known better.

You know what EA. Stick to sports games because you f---ing suck at everything else.

(Exception: Battlefield 1942) -but they are about to ruin that as well with the Secret Weapons expansion...Christ EA, get a clue.

We see players post these kind of post in every mmorpg game forums.

Im pretty new to the mmorpg genre, and EnB was my first. Must say im very happy with it, and for me the game really start when you are at very high level. There are tons of stuff to do and find, but im no real storyplayer, i just do combat and prospecting mostly because i find both very fun to do!

Anyways, i like it and will not stop playing.

I have tried AO a little, and it was not my cup of tea, but there were some stuff i liked about it.

Bought planetside. Without testing it first! Was very bored the 2 first day, but started to like it soon! After almost 1 month it got very boring! Take base, loose base, change certificates all the time! I canceled it. However.. i will start again soon! Its a game that works in periods, cant play it all the time!

SWG!!! Hmm.. All my friends who plays mmo games were sooo excited about this, and so did everyone else i noticed! I were not! Everyone started playing it.. Now a couple of month later, fokls stop playing it, returning to their old games, EnB, AO and others. My buddy told me about the superiority of SWG his buddys who were in beta had told him! Guess they were all wrong.

I will never play SWG! THe only really good game about starwars is xwing alliance and it is brilliant! After Lucas latest movies i lost interest totally.

I read a "review" on EnB on this sites top5 list which i got kind of angry over! Said something like "this game should not be #1, it sux, " or something! Why cant it? Apperantly players like it, that's why! So what game SHOULD be at top? Let the voters be the judge of that! Oh i know, i will go vote on everquest and say it sux and give it the worst score i can and say it shouldnt be on top! Bah. If Everquest or SWG would have been #1, so be it! Players like it then!

ive played E&B since beta5 and is still playing on 3 accounts.

call me an addict or whatever, still there is no MMO game out there that have me as hooked as E&B anyway.

i played this game for a few months....i was pleased for the first two-three weeks, then sat around and then stopped playing it cause it SUCKED, man it was the same thing over and over and over it was soo boring for me, if you like going in light speed for 15mins to get somewhere to get experience for exploring, go for it, but i didnt like the game much, maybe cause i bought it when it first came out? but it sucked big time for me as well

I was playing this for about 4 months and found it extremely boring. Warp drive put me to sleep twice and the money runs are outa this world. Ship design has to be the worst ever. I will say this.. Being a trader was the worst mistake I ever made in that game. The concept of the game is great but there are to many flaws that make this game a peice of shyt.

I started this forum about 8,9 months ago, and its funy because its still a pupular forum. Any way i'm sure u don't want to sit there and here my type about that so i'm just going to say what i came to say.... Enb was fun for about the first 2 months i got, (and i got it when it first came for release) after that time spand i was about lvl 65 and it just gets boring because all u can really do is missions, God thats so anoying, so i cancelled my subscription, well about 3 months and 6 mmorpg's later i decided to come back, now days i just keep it and when i'm really bored i play it. But what cracks me up the most is that the econemy shot way up and credits is worth like nothing now, i mean u see guys walking around with 300-500 million and they make like 10 million, meaning that things that when the game just came out that where only about 1million are like 40-50 million now, and u have to proved some of the ore, and tips of course,,,,, so if u are planning to join Enb, just expect to buy from vendos because every thing else will be way over your head, although when u get to like lvl 5 stuff and u aren't buying from players yet u will be so screwed out in the battle field,,,,, anyway i'm going to go play my newly gotten xbox live... cya

Look I'm still playing E&B and I dont think it sucks I think its a decent game and I would like to play it until Im done with it... but for the peep who started this topic... Dont waste your time complaining about E&B and just go for another MMORPG like Everquest cuss EVERQUEST SUCKS someone says that E&B is a everquest in space.... Then maybe that person is a everquest geek because he said that.. I hate everquest so much i dont even like to talk about it and im only gonna say everquest on this post because I dont like it when people diss great games like E&B if you dont like it... then I give you permission to leave the game forever... and leave this forum alone and leave the game alone.. I may insult some people in this post... then im sorry.

But I like E&B because of the community and ideas of devs.. If you say anything else because I posted... then I'll make sure that I will fight till the end.

I love EnB, no matter what anyone says. You can make the game challenging & fun for yourself even after 150; if you can't the game's not for you.

It speaks for EnB that many players who leave in the search for a better space/sci-fi on-line game return ...

Hear, hear... I'll toast to to that!

It's a great game, while not for everyone, it is one of the best "Space" type games out there.

I beta'd SWG and Eve, both pale by comparison.

This game is easy to get started in, the controls are easy to learn. The biggest drawback to the game is that after completing training missions it kinda leaves you to roam around without direction. To some this is very confusing.

Best thing to do is keep an eye on the "New player" channel, get into a good guild, and ask questions. Many of us have been around since beta and enjoy helping people.

The latest patches have greatly enhanced the high level gameplay, there's lots to do for every level. A great game!
