Something wrong with server tonight

Something serious wrong login attempts timing out and or showing someone already logged in. 15 minutes to zone even just through doors.

 

Really starting to think there may be a DOS attack in progress.

    Agreed, but didn't stop my play. Took almost 10 minutes to zone in and out of a public dungeon. Otherwise fine.

    60909840983 new players causing a bottleneck.   First "real" weekend since release...and the servers are not handling it well.

    I hadn't had any problems personally, but I did see a few people discussing it in chat.

    It's definitely been buggy tonight. Especially for characters in the PVP zones.

    That's a relief, when I saw the "another log in on this account has ben made" I started to freak out a little and immediately changed my password.

    yeah log in loading and entering game loading is stalling out.  confirmed by me.

     

    WARNING: what ever you do STAY LOGGED IN!!

    this will be the first server fix needed since last week,  this is pretty good I must admit.   I bet it is because people bought this game now and are hammering it down!

    The loading issue started yesterday actually along with guild chat and tells delay( upto 30 minutes). People had guilds disappearing along with friends lists. I stopped playing now till they sort this out. Took me 6 minutes just to load in dungeon.

    ...and the servers are down.  Needed, I think - loading times were getting extreme.

    You must be the luckiest player - almost never any problems.

    I am here sitting at the "logging in" requesting character load screen for 12 minutes already.... 

    Edit - minute 13 - I have zone loading screen now :) - getting better!

     

    In fairness, you didn't see any problems if you were not zoning (e.g. open world questing) and if you did not log out.

    yep, was a bit long to load in, told me there was already a log in (scary in light of everthing).

    did get to play for about 30 min before they brought it all down.

    Well at least you didn't lose your inventory.  A lot of report on the forums from people losing their entire bank inventory.

    People tend to wait a week after launch like I did so we did not have to deal with server issues.

    Personally I hope the EU megaserver moves sooner than later to EU. The unresponsiveness and periodical lag spike is beginning to grind my nerves.

    Zenimax are probably playing it safe, once the game has enough players on the EU server, and it looks like their going to stay, they will probably move it closer, be crazy not to tbh as the current situation will only annoy people further. image
