...based on book about a digital world coinciding with our real world. Obviously not .Hack// or The World, but it had quasi similar machinations. The only detail I can remember is a crazy transit system with structures that were like tubes of light and a partial euro-high fantasy setting (castles and mountains and nature) and that at the time, it was pretty close to AAA.
Sorry for the vagueness but I would very much like some help finding it. Even if it was vaporware or anything similar.
EDIT: Also, yes this is my first post ever in the 5 years I've trolled through this website.

Actually I had forgotten about this one until now. Not sure what the status is. FAQ on their site says release Q4 2012 but it seems there is no recent news...
So it looks like the developers, RealU, closed down and shelved it, but gamigo has publishing rights and is still allowed to use the english and euro versions however they please. So Tad Williams is still apparently working on it as of last May with a new studio.
Thanks for pointing me in right direction. I hadn't thought about it since some of the development videos and it was driving me crazy that I couldn't remember what it was called.
