If you like lore, questing, exploring, reactive combat, gorgeous (for mmo) graphics, slower pace, deep crafting, more "mature" style and setting then ESO is for you.
I agree on all those points apart from the combat.
It most certainly isn't "reactive" in any way or form.
Originally posted by morg2625 I liked this game. It was visually stunning and easy to play. But it didn't hold my interest for very long. Not sure why but it became boring after level 15. If your looking for something to keep you occupied for a week this is a good choice maybe you will get more out of it than I did.
Funny, most people have expressed the opinion that the game didn't open up for them and start to be entertaining till level 15. I wonder why your experience was a complete 180.

You have to block, dodge, and move based on enemy tactics. That is reacting to what they are doing. How is that not reactive combat? It might not be as fast paced or action oriented as some would like but it certainly is reactive. And don't tell me GW2 was any different. GW2 NPCs telegraphed their attacks for a day and a half before they did something too.
I've been playing since my five day early access, and I am not even close to bored of it. I love the quests so far, as they are really keeping me immersed into the world. I have three characters, and one of them just reached level 10 recently. I'm taking my time, exploring, reading all of the books, experiencing every crafting profession, and it's just plain fun to me. I have no interest in skipping quest text/voiceovers on my first toon. I'm not interested in jumping into PvP right away, where I will get murdered due to lack of skills. I'm just enjoying it. This is exactly what I've been harping over the month leading up to ESO's launch. Where people will burn themselves out and become bored or start complaining about a lack of content. Playing a MMO isn't supposed to be a race to the end, it's supposed to be about experiencing the journey to the end.
Either way, I was hoping, going into this, that it would last me long enough to see the release of The Division. As of right now, it looks like that will happen. That makes me happy.
I think its a nice filler game while I wait for the release of Wildstar. Once I got past lvl 25, I started enjoying the game much more than I had initially. Not enjoying the PVE in this game at all but the lore is decent. If you haven't already started reading all the bookshelves, I would. Some of the text is pretty good.

Two weeks for me... it just petered out. I felt a pang of disappointment when I unsubscribed.
