You know you do it! What music do you groove to when playing an MMORPG

You know it happens! While gracing the lands of the MMORPG world ....you find that listening to same song gets on your nerves. So fellow MMO'ers what programs, cds, radio, and etc do you listen to?

After turning off the in game music. I will bring up AOL Radio image Its pretty good when you want to flip to different style of music on the fly. Or sometime I whip out my fav cd and put in the PC and listen from Music Match Juckbox.

Different styles I listen to are Folk/Rock, Pop, and Trance.

I use to do it when I played Endless Ages and Ryzom but with most all other MMORPGS I've actually let the game music play most of the time. I liked the music from EQ, FFXI and WoW the most.

I don't listen to music. I listen to the talk radio shows that come on at night. Especially the late night show about UFO's and ghost's and conspiracy stuff (Coast to Coast). It's on from midnight to 4 in the morning where I live so it keeps me going for a long time. That's my favorite one.

Oh, and I like Jerry Doyle. He's pretty cool too. He comes on right before it. ::::01::

Now see I got burned really fast on FFXI. Not sure if your melee or mage...but mages tend not to hear the battle music....which I heard changes in different areas >.>;; I was a lvl 60whm and ummm *cough*. WoW I actually like...but then I ended up moving to aol radio again.

Guild Wars .....if any of you all play it....Get Direct Song ...Its really worth the 5 bucks!

    I use Yahoo radio myself.

But... I played WoW and DAoC mostly.... I still find myself to stop and listen to their music after years of playing.

It really makes the location feel more ..... I'll leave it there.

oops... my vote even after two years I still like the music.

Sometimes, the music files are better than the game.

I'll listen to the music for a few hours then turn it off. I want to hear approaching danger and the other sounds of the game more than the music. Once in a while I'll listen to music like when I'm crafting in town where there isn't much danger of being attacked. Lately, it's been a band called Deerhoof.
