What do you recommend I try?

I’m looking for an MMO/RPG to sink my teeth into - no requirements, but it would be nice to know why you recommend what you’re recommending.

I’m currently playing Elder Scrolls Online on and off, and I’m going to check out Path of Exile later on today. I’m tempted to get Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, but I would mind getting it on the Playstation 4 when it comes out so i’m holding off for the time being.

I’ve played numerous MMOs/RPGs so I will list a few so someone doesn’t recommend something i’ve already played; World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars: Knights the Old Republic, Torchlight 2, Rift, EverQuest 2, Dungeons and Dragons: Online, Borderlands 2, Dragon Age, Dark Souls, Titan Quest, Neverwinter Nights 2, and Magicka.

I'd recommend Dark Age of Camelot for an older style MMO.

For a newer one, I'd say give FF:XIV or Marvel Heroes a shot, both a pretty dang fun.

    Currently Playing: ESO and FFXIV
    Have played: You name it
If you mention rose tinted glasses, you better be referring to Mitch Hedberg.

D3 RoS has given me the old D2 feeling of "just 1 more run".  In fact I kinda regret my purchase of ESO, since im much more inclined to want to get on D3 and knock out a rift or a few adventures looking for that 1 more legendary drop.

    My personal MMORPG recommendations:

    1. Final Fantasy XIV: A solid game, fantastic if you're either a Final Fantasy fan or a fan of themepark gameplay.
    2. Eve Online: The penultimate sandbox MMORPG. It's not for everyone, but for those it is, it's magical.
    3. The Secret World: The best atmosphere and setting in the genre. If you enjoy good writing and non-trivial puzzles, this is your game.

As for normal RPGs, while I can't give any specific recommendations, I would recommend keeping an eye on the indie and small developer studios. Pretty much every RPG I've seen recently that seemed interesting came from them, rather than the larger studios.

if you're into some fps, try loadout, the game's fun, and the customization is amazing, especially on the guns
