Am I the only one excited about this? I admit I haven't touched GuildWars in a while. Not really because I was bored of it. Just because there aren't enough hours in the day for as many games as I want to play. Between the beta's that I can't talk about, the console games I play (love my Xbox360), the foreign MMO's I play (Dekaron and HolyBeastOnline), plus my everyday PC Games (CS:S and UT2k4).
I'm really excited about the event though. Love Assassin classes in most games i've played. (Can find out more about the event at GW Faction Event) Arena.net actually surprises me just about everytime they do something. First it was the free GuildWars weekends where they showed off a late Alpha and early Beta versions of their game. Now this little even to introduce new content they are putting out.
Just a shame they didn't go with a full MMORPG instead of the CORPG idea. I think it would have been quite interesting.
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.

It's gonna be some of the best PvP There is, because you have an objective - a goal to reach.

I gotta say. Once I heard about this and read the Gamespy article....I instantly re-installed Guild Wars
I need to get back into practice. Also, wanted to get a feel for the game again. Right now there isn't much to do, but I must say that grouping is as fun as ever!
Company that is offering free fun for everyone without requiring pre-order or even asking your CC details. What sort of madness is this?
Leipuri, that is not madness, i appreciate the ways of Areanet on how they distribute their product (GW in this case), if you ask me, Guild Wars has great service, in-game as well as out-game, and about asking CC details, why for the love of god is that necesarry? it is called non-fee requirering for a reason you know. and it's undenyable, it's not madness, GW is and stays a succesful product among public, and about Factions, i hopelessly await the coming of GW Factions, they have implanted very curious features, like PVP only explorable area's, missions, and the practice option (at long last !) now i can finally try to outbest my egocentric mate
I have a tree, a tree that's in my garde, but my garden's too small for the tree, so the tree is in my house, that means i don't have a house .... who am i anyway?
