HI all,
I'm a casual gamer, i play about 20 hours a week primarily in the weekends.
I play to get to the 'end game' and hope to become a force to be reckoned with in PvP, that is what keeps me going levelling. I also want to play a game that is mainstream and has many many players.
My worry is that by the time I hit VR10, the TESO community has 300k subs and there is nothing to do PvP wise and that i'll end up in WoW again.
It's really making me thing whether I am wasting my valuable time levelling at the moment.
Is anyone else sharing the same thoughts/feelings?
Thanks.

Wasting time? What do you mean? You are playing a game. Every second of it is "waste of time" basically besides for the enjoyment you get out of playing a game for the moment.
Also since there's no separate servers there will always be people on the zones and on pvp, there wont be no "dead servers" or server merges since all that affects only on how many instances of the zones or pvp maps there is going to be at one time, but the population should remain the same on those zones, there is just going to be fewer copies of the zones.
Seriously you should give some time for that "waste of time" thought of yours, you are wasting your time on WoW just the same as in ESO, when you eventually stop playing you cant get anything from the game with you when you leave no matter how much time you invested in the game (this is also the reason why some people get so frikkin angry at games they quit, they invested a ton of time but they have nothing on their hands when they quit, also the reason why some people find it impossible to quit, too much time invested to throw it all away, poor bastards).
....ignore this post because obviously this guy has no idea what the duping bug does or the fact that they banned the hell out of anyone who used it.
The PvP campaigns only hold a couple thousand people each anyway. Dont worry, you'll have plenty of people to fight. It's no different than any other game which is split into multiple ervers. WoW for example, millions of players. Its not like youre actually on one server PvPing in the world with all of those people at once. It only takes a few thousand to keep pvp in each server, or in ESOs case campaign, active.
ROFL Zen let all the people they banned back in because it would have caused too many charge backs. They are afraid they will not be able to boast how many copies they sold if people decided to get refunds on their purchases. Should keep up with the news so contrary to banning the hell out of anyone they have quietly let them back in.

There are at least four ppl in my guild who run in full crafted legendary sets and have their crafting maxed, so this guys has the idea. They banned only the dupers, not the ppl who were given the items created by dupers from duped mats or who used the ingriedients from duped mats to max their crafting and create their own legendaries. So go take your fanboy zeal somewhere else?
Not only them, but also ppl who actually were completely innocent...
There is no global auction house to flood everyone with fake items. The advantages are pretty small at this stage, and - more to the point - why should a casual player care at all? It will take you months to get to the end game, as there is a ton to do. In those months they have the chance to iron out problems, ban cheaters, and in general work on getting the things that you'd like ready. This game doesn't have fixed servers and will suffer from low population issues structurally much less than games with individual servers, even if it shrinks. And it's a lot of fun, with hundreds of hours of fully voiced quests and a PvP system that looks to have a lot of potential.
2 people in my guild who were involved in duping are back again after temporary bans. They still have their gold scattered on several alts and they love bragging about it. So i would say it is pretty profitable to dupe in ESO.
Pretty tough to stop duplication exploits when folks on these very forums condone it in their guilds
ESO is a complete mess, so many rookie mistakes being made and how Zenimax handles it does nothing to encourage their playerbase to stay subscribed.
This game will NOT keep a strong sub count, its painfully obvious...even if you like the game. Here's what you can do, dont re-sub, wait 3-4 months and see whether or not whether the game gets better or goes down like the rest.
Zenimax said the game is not setup to be f2p... but thats an absolute lie. Bank space, inventory space, mounts, pets, upgrade components, costumes... all these are easily and effective items to sell for real money. They have left room for f2p to happen if the need is there.
