So do you just push the left button until the tumbler is pushed in..Is that it.  or ar e  you supposed to be moving the mouse around. I am not getting the jist of it. All it does is depress a small amount and snap back. I cannot even get 1 to go all the way.

You're supposed to depress it until it starts shaking, and then hit the right mouse button. That will lock it into place. Do the same for each tooth.

When the tumbler starts to wiggle, simply release the left mouse button.  There is no need to click the right mouse button.

the lock picking on ESO is the same they used on oblivion. Skyrim was much more..simplistic and less time consuming but also IMO less fun.

works best based on sound, close your eyes... and listen, you will hear when you need to release it..  Espescially when you get harder locks, this works miracles for me

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

While there is no need to press the right mouse button, it makes lockpicking much easier.

Keep left button pressed, tap right button when it starts to shake, if you do it in the wrong place, as your left button is still pressed, the tumbler starts to get pushed down again instantly, which saves valuable seconds.

I find it easier to click the right mouse button than let go of the left quickly enough.  My index fingers have a bit of carpal runnel syndrome.

shhhh the first rule of the locked chest club is YOU DON'T TELL PEOPLE HOW TO OPEN THE LOCKED CHESTS !!

Seriously everyone know all those chests are mine so keep your thieving mitts off of em <grin>

If you can't open a chest then the light fingered work of the thief is not for you mate. Take an axe to it or something.

I do that as well. It seems to work for me a bit better for me.

You don't? I guess I just have it stuck in my brain from Oblivion.
